I had the Elite and used it 7 times until it died in the 3rd week so was able to return it.
Then Ming Tsai’s PC went on sale for the same price as the Elite $99.95 so I got that one just because I liked the color. I assumed all PC’s are the same, boy was I wrong, what a difference in taste, texture and tenderness.
I’ve cooked the same things in both, Pot Roast, Asian Pork, Mac & Cheese, Lentil Sausage Potato Soup, Baby back Ribs and Salmon w/ steamed veggies and the food from Ming’s is far superior. I realize now with the Elite I would have to reset the the recommended time for longer when things weren’t falling off the bone. The ribs and Pot Roast the 1st time around were tough and awful (kinda like dog food) so I would re-program for more cook time and then learned to do that with all the meats. Hope this helps!
