Maggie Sweet by Daniel Kiviat

I’d like to his line again too BUT at reasonable prices. No more playing the game, Daniel, of limiting stock so customers will order quickly [-x .

Mindy Grossman please bring Daniel Kiviat back! I could always count on his petite sizing to fit me perfectly. I used to by clothing from HSN all the time when Daniel and also Terry Lewis was on.
Now I very rarely buy fashion from HSN. They need more lines with petite sizes.
Just admit you made a mistake letting Daniel go and give him another chance. He had a huge following here.

Pizzaluver – sigh… those were the good days, were they not? I really wish HSN would re-evaluate their decision to stop catering to folks like us…

I as just pulling out my summer clothes and Maggie Sweet is a major part of my summer line.  I too love MS clothing – they still look like new after several years.  The peachskin fabric peices are great and fit perfectly as well.

To bad to sad – Daniel Kiviat and Maggie Sweet had lots of devoted customers.

but realized it was for his beginning in 2010..but I see

nothing now with Evine?

I miss Maggie Sweet and love his jeans & jackets from years ago.  They have held up really well…

I too miss his line. I just pulled out a gorgeous rose embroidered denim skirt, top and blazer that I wear as a set. It is stunning, machine washable and the compliments never stop. His moleskin pants still look like new and pass for suede. I miss Daniel.

I loved Maggie Sweet because Daniel Kiviat was more than knowledgable about what made non-models look their best.  He addressed fashion issues that made you feel special.  You looked your best with Daniel’s creations and yes, my closet is still cramed with his Maggie Sweet creatations as no one has come close to their appeal and comfort.  If you should ever wonder if you should come back into the business.  I vote Yes.  Try us again and you’ll find out how much we have missed you.  The forgotten woman is still out there with no one to champion our cause.  Love ya!!!  XOX

I really believe that HSN was the one "limiting stock"–not Kiviat himself.

I also vote for the return of Maggie Sweet!

You brought back memories.  I also have some choice items in my closet.  I guess times change and  vendors come and go.  We can only hope he can be revived.  

I still wear Daniel’s skorts all summer.  They are the coolest in hot weather.  I do wear his lightweight summer clothes and they don’t ever seem to wear out.  His heavier poly fabrics seem a bit outdated now, but I still wear them sometimes. He made good sweaters too.   I never understood why he was discontinued and the line seem to change (and die out) with a woman vendor.  I thought and still believe he was the owner and manufacturer of the line.  I see his things on ebay even now.

I always loved his dusters.I have found none to match their beauty since he left.
