Jackie from Slinky Brand

I like Slinky brand but never watch the shows for the reason that you mentioned. Jackie has always been that way and it drives me to immediately change the channel.

Is it just me or is Slinky getting uglier and uglier each time it comes back? I used to love Slinky, but now, not only does Jackie scream but the embellishment is tacky. There is only 1 thing that I like in all her collections, but unfortunaly I will not be buying it. Inconsistent sizes and nothing up to date or trendy. Sorry!

Why does this woman scream all the time? HSN, please tell her to tone it down.

I used to like Slinky, but the quality of the fabric is not worth the price. There are so many striations which you can even see on the television. Is the weave too loose, or does it lie in the dyeing process? Whatever the case, I love the quality of CSC much better. And … it is much less expensive. Had to laugh at everyone’s criticism of Jackie’s yelling. Absolutely. She should tone it down a bit.

did you see her on with amy this morning??? you would have thought it was amy’s line of clothing,and then to top it all off amy kept apologizing…for speaking out of line..i finally just had to turn it,i couldn’t take it any longer..amy was speaking over jackie-it was sickening, to say the least..amy hogs the spotlight..

I have always hated the voice that Jackie had..she is not meant to be on television. She only got the job because it was her father in laws invention and she is probably too cheap and self centered to let anyone else on television..HSN needs to work with her about her presentations..they are just awful..I have purchased Slinky in the past but do not now because I cannot watch the show ..I am only able to watch the Slinky show if I mute the sound..
I prefer the Carolyn Strauss line and the Anthony fashions..they know clothes and they did not get their jobs by riding on the coat tails of a relative..Carolyn and Anthony did their homework and do their own lines..

I ordered Slinky once & sent it right back. I didn’t like the material at all. It reminded me of something from the 70s. I also saw it at this interesting store in my area, Jomar. They usually carry catalog returns, a bunch of junk really, but once in a blue moon you can find some bargains. Anyway, they had a rack of HSN returns & a lot of slinky for 10 bucks & no wonder. It was ugly.

I agree with all the posts. The line used to be so much nicer-more understated and better made. It all worked together so well! My mom was hospitalized suddenly in 2003 and ended up being airlifted 2 hours away. My daughter and I had to drive to the hospital after midnight. I had a chance to run home before the drive and threw 4 slinky items in my overnight bag. Stayed with her for what turned out to be 9 days and just rinsed out the slacks, tank, dress and duster each night. It would be dry in the morning! The quality was great, the fit was great, and there were no sequins anywhere! I haven’t liked anything as well in the past 2 years or so. There are so many other lines available now that are much more wearable.
