If the clothes in my closet could talk!
I was just thinking about all the clothes and accessories I collect, some I wear often and some hardly at all for various reasons.
This was done with laughter when I was cleaning out my closet. Would some outfits say “I never get to go out in public” Or “I am so tired of always being chosen so often” Or “We arejust taking up space, she wants us here just to look at” The list of conversations would be endless.
My lifestyle does not have much social activity, however I keep shopping!

Half of mine had better not be talking because I have them hidden from my hubby! Although it’s not my fault really- I’ll buy end of season at great price- then months later by the time that season rolls around, my body has spchanged shape just enough to where they don’t look as good as the day I bought them. So this year— Things will be different. After I buy that cute clearance item….

, Really a cute topic :womanwink:
I love all my clothes, shoes, jewelry, coats….. My Master bedroom has a very large walk-in closet. One side, left, is my side and the other side right, is my hubby’s side. All my clothes take up the entire side wall. Crazy you would start this topic. The other day I was looking in the closet and did see some clothes that I would say: “Hey sister-girlfriend, you know as well as we do that your butt will not fit in us EVER AGAIN”…lol. So, I gave my little friends (my clothes) to my church. Now, they have a new home somewhere. This makes me ‘HAPPY!’

Our recent move had my husband and son ahead of me. My husband FILLED the closet with HIS clothes. Most of mine are in storage. What I do have home are hanging on a Household Essentials Tripod Dryer (item #1139908) screaming “WHY?”. Needless to say but, I will anyway, some ‘change of clothes’ is needed around here…

So nice to read the other posts, I am not alone with my fabric addiction.
Thanks for responding and keeping laughing.

My clothes are in the same boat. (or closet)
I just received a lot more stuff. My 11-year old son said, I hope you wear these…usually you just buy them, keep them in the closet for awhile, and then get rid of them. lol
This is not true, btw….I almost never get rid of them. :womanlol: -
FaireMaiden,
I remember when I was trying to get rid of pounds.. My closet is filled with sizes 12 down to xx2. The smallest size is lauging at me now.
I understand what you are saying. I plan to get into some of my clothes this Spring and Summer. I am sure I will make it to a 4 or 6 some how. I am keeping my clothes and eating eggs, Jello Pudding, pancakes.. High cal stuff w/ coffee!

If the Clothes in my TWO closets could talk, (Spring/Summer & Fall/Winter), they would all be waving their hands and saying, ‘Pick me, pick me!’. *lol*
I love ALL my Clothes, and am so grateful I can afford quite a variety of Colours and Styles… same with my Shoes, Handbags, and Jewelry. The only reason I’ve sent Clothes either to my sister, (or have given to our local Women’s Shelter), is because I’ve lost weight and no longer fit in them. Even then, I’m always telling them how happy they made me and how sad I am that they have to go to someone else now. *lol*

Ditto sister, and mine mock me when i gain weight – they laugh and say bch-pahleeze, you arent fitting your newly found round belly into most of the stuff in here….unless you want to look like something the dog catcher should chase after.
