Gemporia (Rocks TV – aka RTV)

Heartily recommend for their 14k, 10k, 18k yellow and white gold selections and values. I’m not a silver buyer so I have to pass on a lot of really great gemstones that are only offered in silver settings.
They have special gemstone collections that are not easy to find from the US shopping channels (Minas Gerais Kunzite, Australian Opal, Brazilian Morganite, Siberian Emerald..). They disclose all metal and gem weights and country of origin.

The first order and every third order ships with a gemstone encyclopedia, and other stuff.

Shipping speed is advertised as 4 to 8 business days, but I have received my orders within a calendar week of ordering. Orders are processed through USPS from NY, so you have to estimate shipping from NY to your state for an estimate.

Returns are hassle-free (mailed to a NY return address and you’re not refunded the return shipping), and the initial $5.95 shipping charge is not refunded unless there is a defect. Standard 30 day return policy as all the other shopping channels.

Price match tested personally several times – for any item presented at any time after your purchase for a lower price – call the phone number for the difference to be credited to your account.

Oh – one more very important thing – do not order from website but from the live auction or timed auction sections: since all prices are very much lower when presented for auction (and for an hour after).

Rocks TV has amazing prices and quality. Its family owned and operated. Steve, the CEO, is also the one who sources the gemstones, thereby cutting out middlemen. His wife is the designer and his kids are on the broadcasting end. This is why their prices are so much better. They do not sale anything manmade or synthetic. Most everything is in silver or gold, no cheap gold plating crap. They are much better priced than other channels. Plus, all their pieces come with certificates of authenticity that show where each piece came from and its carat weight. They also have a greater variety of gems.

Hay everbody! I dont really have a reply to anything just something i thing everone should know. I love gemporium and ever piece of jewlery i have gotten from them. But i am verry undesiseve about which pieces i get(i love all of them realy) im a singel mother and have a $9.00 an hr job. i save a little money ever week to buy me something beautiful ill order something then see something else i like better so ill call and cancel. They say you can do this….even on air.I have spent thousands in the last 4 months!! And love each and ever piece…BUT i tryed to log on this morning and i have been KICKED OUT OF GEMPORIUM!!!!!!!!! Because of too many canceld orders.(They said) apparenyly there is a limmit on how many orders you can cancel.Did anyone know this? Cause i shure didnt!!! I would have been more careful with what i orderd and made sure that THAT was WHAT i wanted.I didnt even get a warning about this!! I have sent an e-mail explaining my situstion. I realy hope this is resolved soon. I love my jewlery channel dont know what ill do if i cant buy any more! I still need to find my mother a mothers day present and i have it saved in my basket i was just waiting till i had the money saved up. BUMMER!!!!! I have recently discovered gemporia and I am over the moon.  Prices are phenomenal! I will never buy genuine gemstones anywhere else.  Their prices cannot be beat and the $5.95 all day shipping is great.  And no taxes.  Ever since HSN started adding taxes and all the separate shipping charges my shopping dropped by 80 %.  You can buy gold jewelry for the same prices as HSN silver price jewelry and sometimes less.  I recently bought a 22ct kunzite with diamonds and in gold for $650.  I went to my local

jewelry shop and appraised for over $3000.  So happy.  Highly recommend..

Personally, I think this entire thread is SPAM. But, as far as gemporia is concerned, I think their stuff is total crap… utterly inferior gemstones to say the least. I wouldn’t buy one thing from them.

It’s always interesting to learn of new places.  For me though, i have enough favorites at HSN to keep me busy for quite while. 

Yes , prices are amazing. Shipping is reasonable. Keep buying from them and sooner or later you will have an unpleasant experience.  I recently ordered and asked could I pay special shipping to make sure I get my order before Christmas.  The salesperson said for 10.00 I wouod get my order before Christmas. WRONG!  And when I called customer service I was greeted by a most unconcerned rep.  He was not helpful. There was no offer to credit my account for the extra shipping, or anything.  All my fault.  I have been ordering for years, but they have gotten all they will from me. You would think a company that boasts all they do would have credible customer service.  I am still waiting to hear from them concerning my complaints, but I done with them anyway.

So far, I am not really happy with the items I have recieved from Gemporia. They look truly great on the big screen TV, and the colors are so great. BUT, when they arrive, they are not what I expected. The Tanzanite is not dark like they show for a AA grade stone, and are rather lifeless. I had two gemologist give me an appraisal on a Tanzanite pendant that I paid $147 for, and one said the stone was dead, and lacked any spakle, and gave me an appraisal of $90 for the stone, and $25 for the 10kt gold setting. The other gave me an appraisal far lower than what I had paid for the pendant. The Opal cross pendant has absolutely no flash of colors. The prices are quite reasonable, but I wish that what we see on the TV is what we actually get in our homes. It is rather costly to make returns, but that is the price we pay for convenience.

I’ve spent a lot of $ w/ Gemporia & have gotten a lot of nice things…except these last 2 purchases that were Christmas presents to my mother. Both of the rings had broken at the shank and I took them to a gemologist to have them fixed and was told that both of the settings were not only crooked but the gold was extremely thin and of poor quality. My heart just sank because my mom really loved her presents and she only wore those rings for less than two months before they were brokeN. She is disabled naval veteran and doesn’t use her hands and any hard labor and always takes her rings off before washing her hands or showering. So now it’s going to cost $300 to have the stones put in new settings. I don’t even know who to complain to about this! Does anyone have any ideas? I’m not saying that gemporia is a scam i’m just saying that they need to pay closer attention to the settings in the rings! Now I can see why most of the jewelry is so inexpensive. Most of their gemstones are really beautiful for but the settings have a lot to be desired for when it comes to the amount of gold that they use. I’ve been watching them since they’ve been on the air and I will tell everyone who buys from them that you need to check over your merchandise very carefully even if it looks beautiful when you first get it make sure that the quantity of gold is going to hold your gemstones and that the setting is straight. I later found out that they don’t put the jewelry together in the UK. They only sell it out of the UK. I will admit it if I am wrong but that is the research I got off of a jewelry website.

I buy from them all the time amazing jewelry, nice return policy, no long distANCE FEE TO call. Bonus books about stones  A-Z free differt book every third purchase, when I got them all they started sending a different collect, different times free gift with purchase, nice.
