First time buying Slinky Brand, and disappointed!

Hello all! New here : )

So I’ve watched numerous online presentations for Slinky Brand and finally decided to order a few items. Well I can honestly say this has been the first and LAST time I will ever order Slinky. I ordered the Ponte waterfall jacket and a 2 pack of tunic tanks. The jacket was supposed to be ‘ponte’ (or maybe faux ponte?), normally a fabric I LOVE. Instead, a cheap cheap shiny polyester looking jacket. For the price I was mad I ordered this and disappointed. The material is SO cheap looking I could never recommend this to anyone. The side slit pockets are not even on each side and spaced far apart. It makes it feel like my hands are all the way on the sides of my waist, except one is at my hip and one at my waist. Poor attention to detail. The tank material I also wasn’t thrilled with. The white one came completely stained. Looked like I received a customer return. I already notified customer service on that in which they happily assisted me. Anyone else have the same experience with Slinky?? It seems like a lot of mixed reviews. People either love it or hate it.

Can anyone please recommend some better clothing brands here on hsn you enjoy?? I am petite height 5’3, around a size 6-8 pear shape.

I’m sorry you had a negative experience with Slinky. I’ve had Slinky for years, & they do last. However, I feel the quality has gone down, while the prices have gone up.

Other posters have made some good suggestions. You may also like to try Antthony, which is a little like Slinky, as far as comfort, but they do run a little larger than siize.

i agree with you-i have been a customer for over 25 years-when they first started their quality was superb-its gone down hill-they used to have a different fabric which was terrific-im still wearing those outfits- first time i have posted-sorry about your purchase -return postge is ridiculous

Try Liz Lange, many pieces are on sale, runs true to size.

sorry to hear about your unfavorable ecperience with your slinky purchases, especially you being sent a stained used item. Glad you called customer service. Since you are pear shaped, I would suggest Marla Wynne, Iman, and Serena Williams. G by Giuliana Rancic is my favorite here, give her a try as well.:smileyhappy:

Welcome to the Community! You might try G by Giuliana Rancic and maybe some MarlaWynne. I have several beautiful and comfortable items from the G by Giuliana line that I love from when I was a size 4/6. Please let us know if you decide to try other lines and what you think!
