Do I dare take another chance on Diane G? I just happened to see a jacket and top of hers and the color was beautiful, IMHO. I have more than enough jackets and winter clothes and the top wasn’t really that special except for the color. I wonder how the sizing is? Famous last question.520-845

Btw … Mine have been shipped! Yay!

@Fashionista just wanted to point out that the embroidered jeans are stretchy jeans and not jeggings. There’s a difference so we don’t want to confuse anyone. 🙂

GREAT FITTING JEAN . I LOVE MINE . ALOT OF MY JEANS THROUGH THE YEARS ARE HERS . AND STILL WEARING THEM ALL .

omg, I am so shocked the floral embroidered fit. I wear a 14 or 16, L or XL, so I got the 16 and 16W. I really could have stuck with 14 and they’re sold out so I’m keeping 16 and will just use a belt. So, if you’re waiting for an unused 16W they’re on the way back. I just REALLY wanted an embroidered jean and this price was good enough to try her again. happily surprised!!

I like my jeans!! I’m shocked! I bought the two colors with the floral embroidery. The white in 10p fit too small. The regular size 10 fit snug and I actually should try a size larger. I’m 5’4″ but with a few rolls up from the bottom they look great I did think the placement of the flowers on the hips drew attention and made my hips look wider. I’m no slim Jim especially after this year. And a bit uncomfortable with my size right now.
The waffle knit top with the pretty hem just didn’t fit. I thought the material would be more accommodating for larger breast but it wasn’t and a size larger would be way too big in waist.
But I love the jeans!!!

When I received my black embroidered skinny jeans – vintage they were of a soft fabric. After washing them as they say you should in cold water and hang dry …I foumd them to be not as soft – but stiffer feeling fabric. Has anyone else experienced this ?

When you say waitlisted do you mean when you order a new pair at the time of the airing of the pants … Your initial order … And it goes into processing and stays in or crossing indefinitely? Cause that stinks if I ordered them and they are stuck in processing waiting on someone to return theirs. :/

quit even watching dg, cause of “frustrating fit” as my friends & I call her jeans. Happend to see vintage, & had many embroidered jeans years ago. Sooo, ordered 4 patterns, and one arrived the other are what they now call late shipping or something. Ha, gotcha hsn. Those are returns they ship to us. They put them in a new bag, but same tissue very crumpled and/or torn, and the white pair had albeit small, 3 splatter marks looked like coffee-with cream lol! So much for touting u get new not already tried on like stores. Perhaps part of the reason although same size ordered some waistlines are 2 inches wider?? From being worn?? Of the 60 plus pair I own from the good ol days when they fit, I liked what she bragged about-that the back was cut high so when bending we didnt show half of our undies-or more lol. Some women complained the front on these was too high. I agree, and having made a pair of pants years ago and reversing the pattern, I had the exact fit of these jeans!!! Back very low while front is high. Good if u dont have a butt ladies!! Tried on 1st pair to see if they stretch out as some of hers do. They run large in the waist, but remaining parts fit well. They STINK to high heaven, the odor burning my nose so had to take them off. They are very light weight denim, which is fine with me. Some pucker around the embroidery, but thinking after washing, could stretch that part, & I usually air dry jeans. Got an idea & the pair I had on for 5 min. I laid on top of the other 3 pair, & the waist was now 2-1/2 inches wider than other 3, so that makes me think the recovery on the stretch isnt very good & they would bag. Since diane said embroidered jeans are all the rage this year, I will be googling and know I can find other brands I like more. These go back. Afterthought; hsn should let us post a review for each of our multiples. Then we could post separate reviews because we all know can be same item # but totally different fit. Oh, and ordered petite. Think she should sell them as short, as genuine petite would not hang in the crotch, the entire garment would be styled for a shorter body. Just gonna force myself to never get tempted again. For me, this brand did a spiral downward.
:smileyfrustrated:

Oh boy ,
I’ve been waiting for a size exchange on a jacket and it’s taking forever.
I was lucky enough to get the last one.
It’s been in processing status over 2 weeks so I called CS to find out why and the
response was “it hasn’t come back yet”.
Obviously a return. I have received a few items that were definitely a return in the past.

@gise427 You know, I goten a pair of the zippered and sized down hoping I coul squeeze into them, but THAT wasn’t gonna happen, so I replaced those with a size up from the oroiginal size. Because I really love the chambray color. Anyway – sizing up I realized this was the size that fit me best, however – these are long enough ( as petites) that the sipper actually hits the floor – well let’s be honest, the entire hem hits the floor, lol. I also noticed if I fold the top over once the crotch problem is better, so I guess that’s how much extra fabric is there that really shouldn’t be.
As for the embroidered – that’s rediculous if I am actually gonna get mine because of a return or exchange. Noone orders an item because they believe their getting something someone else has already had in their posession and sent it back. We order it believing and trusting that it’s a brand new product that came from the manufacturer. ( Unless it is somethign on clearance or an ‘as Is” product. I hope this isn’t the case. :/

Don’t be so sure Fashionista. My pair has been processing this entire time even though it says they are out of stock. I’m expecting to see the order cancelled. :/
I hope not, but I’m not holding my breath. -
I haven’t ordered any tops from her. I have ordered a pair of ankle zip stretch jeans and also a pair of the embroidered stretch jeans that came out on Jan 6/7th.
I am 5’3 and am about 215. I ordered a size 20w petite in black for the zippered ankle. I’m keeping them because I desperately need jeans and while they don’t fit the way they should, I can deal.
First – even as a plus size jean, the calf is very very tight – but that may be why they don’t end up slipping off me. The hem of the jeans hit at the top of the foot – not the ankle. The zipper is not on the side, but falls somewhere between my ankle and the middle of the top of the foot. The torso is longer than I’m accustomed to for a petite, so theirs some puffiness around the crotch and bottom and the crotch does not really sit snugly where it should. The waist rides even in the front and very low in the back. Also, the front pockets don’t stay inside themselves, they actually puch up and halfway out, so I have to push them back in. If the space between the crotch and the waist was shorter maybe it would help the crotch situation – but then again maybe the jeans would slip completely off then.
If I had tried these on at the store, I probably would’ve left them there – but as mentioned I do depserately need pants right now, so these will have to do. I carry a lot of weight in the legs ( thighs and calves) hips/rear and belly. So, nothing fits everyone perfectly.
I also ordered a size 18 petite plus in the same jean because I wanted the chambray. Loved the feel of the material on them, but had to send back for a size 22. I had suspected the 18 wouldn’t fit anyway. So, I am waiting on them – they ere recently shipped. The embroidered still says processing and they are showing out of stock – so, while the customer service agent said Diane will fulfil the order – I’m not holding my breath, lol. Shame – they are so cute!

Yesterday my DG Vintage Skinny Jeans came in; not the embroidered ones. I had only sized down one size and was nervous when I put them on. I love them!!! So far so good. When I get my bill down, I am going to get another pair if they are still around. One of the sage tops I bought also came in and it fits but it is not figure flattering. I’m keeping it anyway. I already sent the fringe jacket and top back and don’t want to overdo it with the returns.

RE: DG2 Vintage Embroidered Skinny Jean 520-755
Isn’t anyone at all curious about “virtual stretch“?
The word “virtual” refers to the act of creating a virtual (rather than actual )
version of something.
Hmmmmm……………………Like is it a make believe stretch?
