DG2 TS ON 6-28

I am a size 20 petite normally … But I wanted the chambray in the Zippered. There’s no more in 20. Think if I size down it will be OK? How stretchy are they?

hi kimthib- I’ve been happy with the fit. At first, I wasn’t sure they’d look good on me given how Diane often describes her jeans…..if you carry weight in the middle, waist. I have a little waist & am hourglass like you. They fit well o:) I’m looking forward to the cuffed pair I ordered. I usually wear boot cut and the pair I ordered is a straight cut

Hi Llama–I, too, have a small waist and an hourglass shape. I have NO trouble with Diane’s jeans as long as I size down. I’m a B/M 4/6/28, but I ALWAYS order a 2T, and they fit perfectly!

Since she changed her material, I’ve bought a couple pairs. The new fabric does feel good. I have a small waist too with a good 10+ inches between my hips and waist. After reading reviews on the ombré boot cut jeans, I went down a size and they fit well. The TS jeans are cute. I saw a cuffed pair in the flag collection that I’m thinking about. I have not been able to wear DG2 jeans for well over a year since the waist sizing changed. The waists are not for people with small waists and curvy hips/thighs. They seem to be cut for people more straight up and down. When I sit down, the jeans slide down the back, and I constantly have to pull them up because they slide down the hips. Buying a smaller size does not work because I need the room in my hips/thighs. I am hoping that Diane sees this because it would be nice to find a fit with a smaller waist area, as before. I understand that she is proud of her stretch in the waist, but not everyone needs it. I am thinking I must be in the minority, but I hope not! :-k

Yep jeans it is. It did not fit me so badly last time, i will not try again. But they are pretty.
