Designed for Boomers
If DG2 jeans are supposedly designed with boomers in mind why use young, tall and slim models?? I don’t get it. Also the rise is so high that on many the waist is midway to my bra. There was a style that had a lower rise several years ago that while still higher than I like, was really comfortable. She should make a shorter rise option and I bet they would sell since I know there are others like me who are not high torsoed.

I don’t get why Diane uses those models either. They probably have pins everywhere holding her garments on. I don’t get that woman, period.

They use tall slim models because they think we’re dumb enough to believe we’ll look like them if we buy the jeans.

I see crotches in leggings. :smileyfrustrated:

TOTALLY AGREE WITH YA’LL ON THIS SUBJECT…DG2 JEANS.
I was laughing at the comments and my husband looked over and said, “What? You laughing at something on Youtube?” My respond was, “No, laughing at my HSN/ARCADE FRIENDS.” Then I read it to him and he was laughing hard. His remark was, “You never mess with women on….clothes/styles, body shapes, hair, make-up, religion and definitely family…they (women) will not back down.”…..lol…..:womanlol:…..crazy man!

I have tried her jeans time and time again …. never got a pair to fit!
I am not that young so it must not be age related …. her jeans are just too big for me. I am not skinny , I just cannot figure out her size code .
I stopped shopping several vendors here , because sizing is waaaaay off.

I ordered a pair of her jeans once. That was it for me. Back they went. I have a perfectly normal body and have no problems finding jeans that fit. I believe her jeans are designed to fit her body and no one else. :smileyhappy:

Because no one wants to see short, dumpy and old models.
I know. Sounds horrible but that’s what I heard (and still hear) from women when I worked in the industry. My best friend was a window/display designer; she would hear from women customers:
*if the models boobs were too big, too small or had nipples that would show through the clothes
*If the model was too short, too tall
*if the models’ wig was off/didn’t look right
*if the model didn’t have a face
*if the model had a “heavier body design”.
People want to see the image in their head (young, firm, lean) not what they see in the mirror. I should say most people do. The industry spends a great deal of money when it comes to what sells their product. It’s also why 12 and 13 year old’s are used to see skin products; no one wants to see wrinkles. Think about it….

I would seriously like to know what type/brand of underwear the models wear when they are on air. You never see a pantie line, their bra straps rarely, if ever, show. There’s never a back bra line, even on the skinny models. I am partial to one piece bodysuits myself as they help to keep me tucked in in all the right areas. Please let us know their undies brand secret so that we can try to look as good as they do. Tks!!!
