DISGO, a wireless keyboard/mouse is a completely independent system from your Verizon system. A wireless keyboard/mouse has a little transmitter that plugs into a USB port on your computer. That’s all it needs! As long as you have an available USB port somewhere, you’re good to go. The rest is just finding a keyboard/mouse that is comfortable for you. Logitech and Microsoft both make good products.
If you need any more help or have any questions, just ask!

I had a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard set back in high school 10+ years ago! I was also using it on a windows 98 computer!!! Great brand and they worked wonderfully for me way back then 🙂 you should most definitely be able to use wireless sets on your computer.

Disgo, FBN is very computer savvy. He has helped me many times. I know some things from trial and error, using youtube.com and googling. But I have to admit, I don’t know everything. And yes, I also use Logitech products and they have given me many years of usage. Good luck with your decision.

Thank you thisgoesto, I stand corrected on the bluetooth. However, if the computer isn’t wireless enabled, then you cannot use a wireless keyboard and mouse. My desktop is not wireless and requires the printer, keyboard and mouse to be connected to the CPU.

Bluetooth isn’t required for a wireless keyboard or mouse.

Your computer will need to be bluetooth and wireless enable to purchase the wireless keyboard and mouse. There are many stores that carry what you need and less expensive than Staples. I hope this answers your question.
