Visual Land 8 Tablet

It would be much easier to understand what you are trying to say if maybe you explained it a bit more. Your sentences are awfully cryptic and I have no idea again what you are trying to say. But good for you that you lost all that weight.

I know what you mean.  I purchased a trio tablet that has 4g LTE.  Host said 8 hours.  Does not last that long.  Only do email Facebook… No games.  Got since I do not have internet at home.  It was cheap but I am happier with my Samsung tablet which was more money but works alot better than the trio.  

I bought the visual land 10″ octacore tablet and it’s slower than a quadcore just opening the apps. It also takes like 5 minutes or more to boot up. If you have things open on the tablet you can switch back and forth pretty fast but opening from scratch is terrible. I can’t send it back now but if i could i would. the battery doesn’t seem to be bad though.

Bill,  I concur with the other replies.  Make haste in availing yourself of the 30 day return policy.  I purchased a Prestige Elite 8Q tablet over a year ago from HSN as well as the two-year protection plan.  In general, I only used the Visual Land tablet if I was too lazy to log onto my laptop, however my intended purpose was to take it with me when I was going out of town in which case I could check my emails and occasionally make use of the camera, rather than use my cell phone camera or digital camera.  Anywho, while I was away a few months ago for several weeks, I used my tablet daily which meant that it needed to be charged each night so that I could avail myself of its use the following day.  Perhaps about a week or so before I returned back home I started to notice that the Visual Land tablet started giving me a problem with charging properly.  This happened a few times before the tablet ultimately stoppped charging entirely.  Unfortunately for me, I never thought to back up the pictures I’d taken to the SD card, or to merely send the pictures to my email address which I could later download.  So during this time, I was out of commission in terms of reading my emails and any pictures that I had to take was done with my cell phone or digital camera.  Immediately upon my return back home, I reached out to the Protection Plan folks (Asurion) to inquire about a remedy for this tablet which was virtually useless to me and they indicated that they would began the claim process and that once I returned the tablet to them that they would reimburse me for the cost of the Visual Land tablet.  This however did not address my issue about the pictures that are in essence “locked” in the internal memory of the tablet which I can’t get to without charging the tablet.  So, for my next course of action, I took the tablet into a local repair shop which specializes in tablet repairs and the person there advised me that it appeared that the charging port on the tablet was moving back and forth and seemed to be the primary reason why I was having a problem with the tablet “holding” a charge.  They (repair shop) then indicated that they could not acquire the parts for what I’d describe as a “no-name tablet” (as opposed to Samsung, Apple, HP, etc).  They suggested that the only possible way that they could fix my current tablet was for me to purchase the exact same model which they’d have to disassemble in order to replace the current charging port on my existing tablet.  Naturally, I was not enamored of the idea of purchasing another Visual Land tablet and indicated so.  I asked one further question in terms of the possibility of my being able to retrieve the pictures I’d taken on the tablet and was told that it was highly unlikely that I’d be able to do so since the tablet cannot be charged.  I then contacted the Protection Plan folks again and pointedly asked about retrieving my pictures on the tablet and they suggested that I contact the folks at Visual Land and at present I’m hoping to receive an email reply back from them regarding this issue.  Again, the Protection Plan folks reiterated that once the tablet was returned back to them and they’d reimbursed me under the terms of the protection plan agreement that they would not return the tablet to me. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing any further tablets from HSN particularly if the product is not a well-known brand name in which case I’d probably have more success if a repair was necessary.  Interestingly, the model of the tablet that I’d purchased is no longer available at HSN and a customer is only allowed to “review” a product that they’ve actually purchased within the past 365 day.  Under these constraints, I could not post a general comment about the two 8″ Visual Land tablets which HSN is offering for sale online. So to anyone contemplating purchasing a Visual Land tablet I have the following advice:  Buyers BEWARE!!!
