Ups surepost vs. Vendor

Has anyone had problems with their deliveries?
Been ordering products with hsn for awhile now. Had just one issue with a product and hsn happily resolved it. Never had an issue with shipments till my last two… ordered the honey and bell pest repellent the box was shoved inside my mail box. Dont know if thats the reason why the box was ripped open. Glad all ten of them was still there since it was individually wrapped but not sealed contained in one plastic bag. The second package arrived today. Box is intact but wasnt properly sealed or wasnt taped sealed. Acct. Info and the pcs. Are all there for anyone to just unfold the top to see. Im very disappointed. Do i expect it from now on that if its free delivery = ups surepost= usps= hope your package arrive safely and intact? because its free delivery will not secure and tape it for you? I know HSN is better than this because i had excellent service on my previous orders. Ordering from hsn and waiting for the package to arrive i am like a child on christmas day but the last two deliveries i felt like the kid who got coal.

It is my understanding that UPS surepost means that UPS is responsible for delivering your package to your local post office. Then, your postman delivers it to your mailbox or hopefully to your door. I have also had packages shoved into my mailbox. After contacting my local post office about the mishandling, my deliveries have arrived in great condition.
