tracfone and simplyactivate
I have a question for Tracfone users or HSN mods:
Does simplyactivate take care of transferring your phone # and remaining balances from one tracfone to the new one?
If not, what is the correct series of steps to activating the new phone, doing the transfers, and getting the 1200 promotional minutes? If it’s all explained with the information that comes with the phone, you can just say so and I apologize. I haven’t received the phone yet, and am somewhat concerned reading all the reviews on the phone.

I just received my LG Trac fone on Wednesday. I tried to activate it on Friday. After many tries, both online and on the phone, I was finally able to activate it.
Now I am checking on how to get your triple minutes for this phone, when I need to buy more airtime. Can somebody please tell me how to do this.
All I see is double minutes.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

No luck activating my phone. Website just keeps saying try back in a few hours. There was no info from HSN with my order regarding my PIN or activation instructions. The HSN online chat just said that I should try again in 7 days, it "might be fixed". Sounds like a fail to me. Now I have personal info on the phone and I can’t activate it, and will have to pay to have it wiped in order to return it. Once again, shopping at HSN costs more money than it’s worth, I’m done trying to be a customer. I’ll get the same phone, tripple minutes, and verizon up the road and my phone will be activated when I walk out the door.

I have purchased the LG Tracfone for many years. HSN provides an informational sheet with the # to contact and activate. I have kept the same number and transferred minutes without a problem. I go to Tracfone site I have an account now on this site. I activate my phone within 10 minutes.
Just make sure you read the instructions and follow them, very easy. Just bought the Today’s Special Yesterday and can’t wait to get it.

This is my second trac phone and did not have a porblem with the setup with my first phone. Granted I was just transferring a phone number. With this second phone I was able to setup the transfer of the old number and minutes but I’m trying to get my 1200 promo minutes. Called trac phone and they said I needed a PIN number. I did not get one. I caledl QVC and they said just read the package instructions, I had already done that. I’m at a loss at what to do now because I really like this phone. Getting very frustrated with the whole process. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hi , you can port your existing number to the new phone as well as transfer over any minutes that you have. We include a welcome guide with the phone with steps on how to do these things as well as how to activate the new phone.

Zanderchick, I’ve never seen a warning on other brands either.

Now that you mention it, I have never seen a Goldenseal bottle ( of any brand ) with a warning on the label. But if you google it, it will tell you not to take Goldenseal for more than a couple weeks at a time, and the reasons why.
