REALLY expensive TRACFONE —

Don’t do it!!!!   Don’t BUY this phone.!!! I was really happy to see the Galaxy S5 for Tracfone.  BUT when I got the phone and had it for several months, I noticed it did NOT upgrade to Lollipop.  It kept saying it was already up to date.  I called, Samsung, HSN , and Google.  Samsung could NOT find the model number of this phone, neither could GOOGLE.  They Both blamed each other for the phone NOT upgrading like ALL the other Samsung Galaxy S5.. They told me to bring it to Best Buy and they would glady UPGRADE it for free.  OKay….NOT!  First of all they could NOT find the model of this phone on any of their Galaxy S5 records!!  Now all of us who paid $499.99 for this phone are stuck with a phone that is already 2  Operating Systems behind all the other Galaxy S5 phones..  I would not be so upset if HSN had given us the phone for maybe 1/2 off but they didn’t.  Even the cheaper phone that QVC had on sale on Wednesday was only $129.99 and IT had Lollipop NOT Kit Kat that we are all stuck with for the life of this phone.

HSN has the best offer anywhere for TracFone.

Fitnessmom, I have seen it repeatedly stated by TF CS reps on Tracfone’s Facebook page that TF’s sold by Tracfone and branded as such do not upgrade OS’s.  I am on my third TF smartphone, and I can verify this.

Please Tracfone people answer me this question.  When will we get an OS upgrade for your Samsung Galaxy S5 Tracfone?   I have had it for about six months and it still has the KitKat OS.  Even the cheaper models of Samsung Galaxy Tracfone are listed with Lolipop?  What gives  This phone cost me $499.99 and still says that all upgrades are already on the phone?  Samsung says it is Tracfone’s fault for not giving it to us and Tracfone blames Samsung for not releasing it.  All I know is that I have a 4.4 and there are 6.0 already on the other phones that are much cheaper Tracfones.  Please give US our upgraded OS like the other Shoppng channels are doing today.There is another shopping channel that is selling a way cheaper Samsung Galaxy phone with Lolipop why not US?  Please look into this problem and let us have an up to date phone for our money.

Check to see if Q minutes are tripled – not sure they are.  You can’t beat HSN Treasure – it is a beautiful phone – had some problems when activating and HSN customer service is AWESOME!  Love an LG phone myself. 

lindylulu, on the Q community in the Today’s Special Value forum, there is a thread about the TSV, and the questions are being answered by Tracfone employees.  You might want to read it.  They just answered the question on the notification light…the Grand Prime DOES NOT have one.

I compromised and got the Galaxy E5 on the one day is was down to 300.00 and I’m glad I did.  I used to have the Alcatel with 8gb and it was a pain to keep cleaning it out to get a decent amount of storage.

I am with you lindylulu.  I recently bought the HSN LG Treasure but don’t know if the Q’s TS is an upgrade or not.  I think the rear camera is a bit better.  Would prefer to go with Verizon.  I think The Treaure is At&T and service is not as available in areas that Verizon is.  Not sure there is much difference to buy another so soon though.  Still thiking it over.

June and July is when the next year model(s) come out.  500.00 is A big investment however if that is what you want.. go for it.

Unless you need to stay with Verizon service, have you considered the Tracfone ZTE Zmax 2 bundle on HSN which uses AT&T?  It has a 5.5 inch display, Lollipop 5.1, 16 gb of internal storage, and an LED notification light on the front like your LG Ultimate 2 (which the Grand Prime does not have).  It is only $20 more than the Q TSV, and according to Howard Forums, the ZTE is a better phone than the Grand Prime.  The ZTE only has a 2mp front camera compared to the 5mp front camera that the Grand Prime has, but I don’t take selfies, so that was not a big deal to me.  I have the ZTE Zmax 2 and absolutely love it having gone to it from the Ultimate 2 like you have.  Read the reviews on HSN, and you will see that everyone likes it (who has a clue how to use a smart phone…lol).  You can look at reviews for both phones on Best Buy.  They won’t be listed as Tracfones…just type in the model about which you would like to read.  It doesn’t matter the carrier, because the phone is the same.

Yet, I see where you are coming from with the amounts stated, and then actually on label. I would take it direct to Pro Caps who may be more informative, I have called them on several of my supplements, they know all everything they should, and may be able to help you. I have to check, I just know that I refuse to use any of the bottles that read FISH OIL, NEVER, and you are correct about taking too many supplements with our medicines, I bring all my vitamins, to my primary doctor, so he knows what I am taking, also Most pharmacies can also be helpful. Years ago, I had high cholesterol, my doctor felt I could work it out on my own, so I went on the CHOLESTERAL CARE, it WORKED, it worked so well, when I  had my next blood work & physical, my liver enzyeme went up mildly, my doctor immediately took me off the cholesteral care, which is like a statin, and that does elevate and over work your liver. I went on his liver antioxidants, and with the milk thistle, a month later all was fine with my blood work, all perfect. Pro caps are quite knowledgeable, have you tried contacting them or HSN yet?
