Our First Flat Screen Broken!! Visio ES LCD Television
Has anyone here had poor experience with Visio TV’s ?
We saved all year to buy our first flat screen TV from HSN in early December.
The TV tipped on its right leg and the screen broke in a very small area and is bulging out and no picture; we had it exactly two months…I am absolutely flabbergasted at the fragility of the TV…the Tv did not fall, nothing hit into it, we didnt knock into it with anything..We are really sad; Visio said their worthless warranty does not cover this. Many bad reviews on the internet about Visio; I have been happy with HSN’s products and felt assured I was buying a fairly good product. Not so…beware of this brand.

Ooooo… now that’s a machine worth looking into! Thanks for posting it, Lindy!

I have a 65″ in my bedroom, and watching it now. I love it. How did it tip?

I moved a chair into the TVstand it was on and tipped backward to the left. It was a hard knock or hard jarring.. that I could understand! We certainly werent playing golf or throwing balls around… even then my sister’s children were throwing a ball and hit their TV and no damage.
I werent on Consumer Reports and the reviews are very poor..many 1 star out of 5 stars…..many people loved their TV at first, as did I. It was what we wanted plus more….
Most poop out one way or another within 1.5-2 years.
I am very disappointed that HSN would offer the Visio brand that has such poor customer satisfaction. If the TV becomes as expensive to repair as it costs, it is close to a rip-off. Somebody should notify HSN. If the company doesnt make good on my purchase, I will. -
I have had a 42″ Vizio for about 6 years now and not one issue. I love it. I have it sitting on top of our entertainment center so it is on a big flat sturdy surface.

I saw Vizio in the news yesterday because they paid millions to settle a lawsuit for violating privacy with the FTC. Vizio was taking the info from its Smart TV interactivity software and selling it to other companies.

I have 3 Vizio, all over 7 years old or so. still going great. 2 are on stands, one on the wall.
