I just learned myself about what 4g means.

The G stands for generation. 4G is a newer generation of internet supply than 3G and is much faster. Think of water coming out of a faucet at higher force. 4G will give you faster upload/download times than 3G.

@Susanfirstlady, 4G would refer to internet access used by cell phone providers.  It would be something that is paid for with your cell phone plan if this is something that your plan offers.
