Need help on RECEIVING TEXT on ALCATEL ONETOUCH POP 5"

Hello everyone and someone please help me!

I own the ALCATEL ONE TOCH POP 5″ tracfone.  Every time I receive a SMS, my phone automatically breaks the message into several short ones, even though the sender is sending me a message as 1 long message.  Is there any way to receive all messages in the same manner the sender send it to me?  Knowing how the size difference between SMS and MMS, most of messages I receive are NOT that big to be MMS….

I talked with Tracfone custmer service staff and was told it’s just the way this particular model is made for…  But I just can’t believe it is the reason….  or is it?

I’d really appreciate if someone knows how to fix this irritaging situation….
