Laptop packaging

I’m thinking about buying an HP laptop from here for someone I live with. Since they may be the one to bring it in the house when it’s delivered or be there when I bring it in, it’s important that they don’t see what is in it yet. I asked customer service if it would be delivered in a plain HSN box or “as is” just in its actual box with the shipping label stuck on. (I ordered a printer that came just in its own box with label on it). They had no idea about the packaging. So I’m curious if anyone here who has ordered a laptop from HSN could tell me how it arrived? Thank you.

I don’t know about HSN, but I purchased a different brand laptop from another network, and it shipped in its box. If you have another address to ship it to (Like work or a trusted friend that will be available to sign for it), I think that would be the best route. Good Luck.
