Laptop or PC ?
What would you choose?
I would go LT.

I think this is based on lifestyle to some degree. I have an HP desktop that’s not even three years old yet and I’m ok with it. When it becomes antiquated (another 3-4 years), I’ll get a MACbook Pro.
I built my desktop directly at HP. Loads of RAM nice graphics card and of course, INTEL processor.

PC is in the closet I only use my LAPTOP

I might go with an all in one since you can use it as a pc or a tablet. If you are on the go alot you might want to think laptop but if you are home most of the time you may want to go with a pc. I’ll probably to with an all in one when the prices come down. if you go with a laptop or all in one make sure it has the dvd burner/player. most on HSN have that included. Stores don’t for the most part.

I need a laptop for daily work in and out of the home.

I like PC. Easier to upgrade, easier to control what goes into it. But then again, I usually get my computers as a box of parts and my kid puts it together for me.
If you buy laptop, make sure you get a separate monitor, docking station and a keyboard (speakers are nice too). Laptops are created against human anatomy. You have to be scrunched in a position that is highly damaging to the body and the eyes. Your hands need to be in front of you just so and your shoulders need to be straight, and your neck needs to be straight and your eyes need to look at the monitor without bending your neck. So don’t skimp on peripherals. Docking station makes it easy to hook in and unhook your laptop to take with you.
As I am getting older, I find a laptop to be too heavy. So I got me one of those Surface tablets HSN sold a while back (because it is a Windows device). After fighting with it for literally 10+ hrs I finally got it updated and running almost reliably. Now I want a better Surface tablet. You can’t work with it for too long – for the same reason you can’t with laptop – your poor neck and shoulders and wrists are suffering too much – but you can reasonably well. Many software companies are now offering licenses that cover a bunch of devices. For example, my Kaspersky antivirus protects 5 including my cell phone (and for now only used on 3). My new Microsoft Office license covers 3 devices and for now only used on 2.
