hp 23.8 today’s special computer
It can’t be very fast with only a 1.6 Ghz processor. A computer this size and with it’s ram and storage it should be at least 2.3 to 2.5 Ghz. processor. I just wish the computers they sell would be faster than 1.6 to 1.8 Ghz. I see too many reviews about the slow speeds of the computers. They look fast on tv but when people get them home they aren’t. I’d much rather have a faster processor than some of the software that i’d probably never use.

All smartbands, including fitbit, DO record steps on a treadmill! These devices record steps using a combination of arm movement and body movement (vibration) from walking or running. As long as you have your arms at your side, the device will record. You don’t need to exaggerate your arm movement. The type of devices are pretty accurate, step and distance wise. I haven’t tested a bike but will and post again. I walk several miles every day and usually use 2 types of pedometer devices, one is a clip on type that I put either on the waistband or on the pocket of pants. In addition to 2 pedometers, I also use a Samsung app when I am walking. I was initially surprised at my daily step count (how high it was) and quickly began setting goals. I have been faithfully walking several miles (in addition to the usual daily walking) for about a year.
