Emerson DVD/VHS combo recorder
I bought this unit back last October and loved it. Unfortunately it quit working properly. The recorded VHS tape would begin playback and shut the whole unit off. I thought it might be a bad tape but after trying with several others, I realized there was something wrong with the player. To make a long story short, I received a check today for reimbursement.

I will never spend this kind of money on electronic equipment from HSN again. I guess there’s a reason we don’t see these presented very often.

I purchased this last July 15, 2015 while HSN was having “Christmas in July.” I bought it for a Christmas present for my adult son and thought it was covered by the extended return policy. It wasn’t opened until Christmas day. It’s NEVER worked and HSN informed me this item WAS NOT covered by the extended returned policy. I can’t even explain my anger of spending $179.95 on something that doesn’t work AND not being able to return it. Oh, to add insult to injury, the VCR jammed and broke (4) recorded tapes.
