, I don’t think you have anything to worry about with the tech products. I can’t speak for their appliances. I have been a proud owner of the Samsung Galaxy series of phones for four years and no problem. I have a large screen Samsung TV for over a year and no problems.

On our local news tonight there is a story about a Samsung washing machine recall because the machines shake so hard doing heavy loads that the tops come off or they fall apart. The local repair guy has 500 calls currently. This looks like a top loading problem. Mine is front loading but it shakes too, even though it has the anti-vibration feature. We were told because we bought the drawers that go underneat, the anti-vibration feature won’t work. They didn’t tell us that when we bought it. I’m really tired of feeling like I can’t trust anyone who sells me anything. You have to research everything and read the reviews on everything. Hard to do on new products. That makes it more important than ever to be sure you are doing business with people who will work to make you happy, which has been my experience with HSN. I haven’t liked everything I’ve bought, but I have liked the way customer service handled it. I can’t say that for alot of places.
I know I sound like I’m on a tirade, but I don’t have the physical strenght to get out and do alot of comparison shopping and need to know who’s good and who’s not. I’ll never buy any Samsung product.

This is not agout the phone, but Samsung appliances. When we remodeled our house three years ago we got a Samsung washer, dryer and refrigerator. The washer is the one that is energy efficient. I have tried every cleaning product on the market, even two at once with stain removes added to the stains, and they don’t wash hard enough or with enough water to get the clothes really clean. The washer gets a bad odor and you have to add a special product to it occassionally to make your clothes not smell. You can’t use alot of detergent at one time because it won’t rinse it all out or will clog things up. We had water coming out of the drawer where you add the detergent even when we were using Pods. A normal wash load takes 1 hour and 21 minutes. The dryer coil has already been replaced although I clean the lint trap after every wash and the connection through the house once a year. If your clothes are not all exactly the same thickness, they will not dry. You have to take the dry ones out and put the rest pack. I’m talking like a pair of jeans and a pair of sweatpants, not underware and sweatpants. I know how to load a washer and dryer.
The refrigerator freezer has had the ice maker repaired four times and replaced completely once. It still makes partical cubes on any setting but we’ve given up on that. As long as we get ice we go with it. The tube in the back of the refrigerator that brings in the water has frozen twice.
I don’t want any advice on what I might be doing wrong. I’m just saying I’ll never buy another Samsung product. The washer and dryer were rated number one by some consume magazine the year we bought it.. I haven’t checked the rating recently, don’t really care. It wouldn’t help me now.

I have used Samsung Galaxy phones core prime thru hsn for the past two and a half years and never experienced any issues what so ever! I hope this helps I read all information available to me and think in my opinion as a galaxy user certain models are involved and if you have a problem they have always helped only set up and warranty immediately!I also know that if your concerns out way your joy owning a Samsung maybe just not for you! I love mine so much and the quality is superior in my opinion! I have owned cell phones of various brands since they came out in the 1990 s they always got hot and always have caused controversial discussion someway or another!Best of luck in your choices!Hope this helps! I also own Samsung Blu-ray 4hd smart hub for a few years and the technology is super easy to use!No problem with that either. The prices are extremely reasonable in my opinion but I use tracfones also since the 1990’s.

My brother had a Samsung phone….not the one involved in the recall. About a year ago, it got so hot that we were afraid that it’d start on fire if he kept using it. The phone company he got it from didn’t really care, but they sent him another one–and it was no good, too.
I think there might be more problems with Samsung products than they’re letting on, especially since learning that some of their top-loading washing machines can explode (on the news, last week.)

If you are worried about phones, only the Note 7 was affected. There are no problems with any other Samsung phones or tablets.
