Activating a TracFone question

Question 1, if i activate my phone with a new number can i later on port my current cell phone number to it? I am asking this because if for some reason the activation doesn’t go through correctly i don’t want to be out of a phone while trying to get it activated with all the minutes etc. Verizon is my carrier and i don’t want to be cancelled by them when porting my number to tracfone. I’ve seen posts where some have had to be without a phone for several days .

I would make sure you have all of the info.. Sim number, pin, HSN, order nunber on the red card that will come w/ the phone, The activaion can take up to 24 hrs to complete

[I was a day for me}. I was able to use my old TF. You will be asked if you want to port over your number or change.

Hi ! Since HSN does not handle the porting process, I can’t say for sure. You’ll want to contract Tracfone directly for help with this question.
