ZTE Cymbal 2 Flip Trackfone dilemma. Trackfone support is non existent so HSN Manager please help
Dear HSN Manager,
I am using the Trackfone ZTE Cymbal 2 flip phone with the 1200 everything which includes minutes. data,and text, and I keep h=getting text messages when I try to make a cell phone call which state the following:
Tracfone ZTE Cymbal 2 text message states the following: “Can’t update with Verizon”…….I use Tracfone minutes & guess this cell phone uses Verizon’s Towers. but I am not sure….so can you please tell me what I need to do to get this dilemma solved, and if a Verizon update is needed why can’t it just auto update without stopping me from placing a cell phone call?
I have to shut down and start the ZTE flip phone again in order to make a cell phone call, and then this stopping me from making a call again repeats with the same text message regarding unable to do the Verizon update.
Can you please advise the fix for this because Tracfone Reps are not understanding any of this and that is very irritating, especially when their tech support to discuss and resolve this type of dilemma is needed, but they cannot offer any tech support at all.
I prefer not to have to return this phone and call HSN for an easy return label but if this keeps occurring, then it is defective and is useless as a cell phone for me.
I thank you and now await your email reply advisement which will resolve this totally frustrating dilemma.

We have communicated here before, and I am a registered user.
I already ccontacted Tracfone and when 2 tech support reps were at a loss I became very discouraged.
Yesterday I also called Tracfone back and asked to speak with a Supervisor, but that was a waste of time and effort.
I believe tracfone is not on Verizon’s important list since i read so may other consumer complaints anbout Tracfone which was really an eye operner.
The Supervisor had no clue either so I think I will just return the Tracfone ZTE flip fone now, rather than wait sinc longer and spin my wheels in consumer frustration since t still is not functioning like a normal cell phone functions.
I’ll call HSN later today and ask for a prepaid label return shipping label, and then send it back for a complete refund back to my original payment method of what I paid for the cell phone.
It is really a nice phone Sarah, and I loved it when it first came and functioned without any dilemma issues. but is totally useless to me now, especially since this not being able to do the Verizon updates dilemma keeps re- ocurring.
Trackfone evidently knows this specific ZTE Cymbal 2 model flip phone has various problems, already visible on te internet, but unfortunately Tracfone cannot help with any resolution.

I’m sorry to hear this phone is having some trouble. Unfortunately we’re not trained to offer any technical assistance for orders- so I’m not able to help with this. I suggest contacting Tracfone again and asking for a supervisor so they can help you resolve it.
