Price reduction is it true or does it depend?
Hello, I called and spoke to a lady today about four items I had purchased in the past from September til now. I gave the item numbers and the prices and I was continually told that the items were too far out of range to be reduced in price! Therefore I simply ask this what are the rules for this type of transaction where if you purchase something and it goes down in price, you can call on it and have it reduced to the new lower price! Sorry, I’m new with HSN and their rules. However, it doesn’t hurt to ask, although whom I spoke to today made me feel like I was stupid and wasting her time! P.s. I also mentioned a pair of pants purchased and she more or less told me I couldn’t return them because I had them over 30 days
We’ll, I’m not going to pay for something I never wore that shrunk too bits and I was told THAT I COULD RETURN VIA EMAIL WITH ANOTHER LADY WHOM WAS SUPER NICE!

There was a coupon drought in August, and it looks like there’s not a cloud in the sky for September either. You look at the HSN coupon page, and there aren’t ANY coupons for EVERYONE like there used to be. Instead of getting better, they are getting worse!

I have tried to use so many of their so called coupons and coupon codes, and never, not once we’re any of them taken. There is always some stupid lame reason or excuse. In my opinion, they are trying to entice people to shop by very deceitful lies and dishonest methods.

Just wanted to let y’all know that the Coupon Equality document was sent.
I submitted it to 2 email addresses:
HSN Coupon Customer Service
HSN Corporate Media RelationsI also mailed it to 2 postal addresses:
HSN Marketing Team
HSN Corporate HeadquartersI know that the coupon frustration continues, but THANK U to all who participated. I could not have done this alone. My reports may get thrown in the trash…or they miiight make a difference. Only time will tell. I have done everything I can.

Check out Coupon Cabin. With or without a coupon, you get paid to shop at lots of places, including HSN.

Are there any Beauty coupons? Doesn’t need to be much, even $5. would help. On a tight budget. I spent $64. on fish oil Monday, and missed out on the $10. off $50., kicking myself. 🙁

I used Coupon Cabin for years, just for the coupon codes.
Once I became a member, I used it to earn money back. My suggestion to anyone using CC to earn money back is this:
Make a Coupon Cabin folder….
Print Screen Copy ALL CC’s offer you are going to use.
Make sure the date shows.
Print Screen Copy any CC combined multiple offers ( coupon $ & member %)
Print Screen Copy the completed sale, showing the purchase went through.
Keep copies of all emails about the purchase (including ship date).
Keep a record of exactly how much “cash back” each sale should earn you.
Check the status of the “pending cash back” on the CC site. Stay on top of this.
I made several big ticket purchases for Christmas 2015 starting in the fall. I made several more after Christmas. The biggest item was a custom built HP laptop. CC showed 3 offers that you could combined if you were a member. The combo was used to buy the computer. They did NOT honor their offer when it came time to send me a check. They told me that the 3 offer combo never existed, even though I could go to the CC site & see an identical offer. I lost a large chunk of cash on that deal, around $60.
I bought two (2) Clarisonic Mia 2’s from QVC. I was sent a check for the wrong amount, even though I had sent them several emails about their mistake. They told me they would have to check with QVC to verify I made the purchase ( then why send me a partial check for that purchase ?)
I bought 2 FOREO LUNA Mini’s from HSN. The same thing happened as above.
For those of you who have never used Coupon Cabin, you may be confused by what I said above. I’ll try to clear that up for you.
When you make a purchase using CC, you don’t get a “cash back check” right away. CC waits until the “return item” period ( 30-60-90 days) has ended, before moving to the “cutting you a check” part. They also do not send you a check for less than $10. So, if the “cash back” you earned is $8.50, NO check for you. Buy something else to bump your “cash back” total up to $10. BUT keep in mind, you still have to wait until the “return item” time has expired for the 2nd item you just bought.
My breaking point came when CC admitted they had made the mistake with the Mia 2 order. They still owed me $8.50. Still, they would not cut me a check. Even though it was their mistake. After many emails back & forth, I was told that they would send me a check, but in order to do this, they had to close my account. My replay was ….. “please do”. Now you would think that is what they would do. Wrong. It was well over a month and several more emails back & forth, until they closed the account and sent a check. And if they close your account, you are BANNED from even looking at their site.

, welcome to shopping with HSN. I’m sorry you received conflicting information about your return. Please let me know the item # and I’ll be glad to waive the return S&h fee. Price Guarantee refunds are eligible to you if a price reduces within 30 days of purchase and you reach out to let us know. Price reductions beyond 30 days are not eligible for refunds. I hope this is helpful information.

To the customer service people at HSN whom answer the phone calls! I work retail all day long! I do!! And I wouldn’t dream of treating people the way SOME of you do! The woman I spoke with, I’m leaving her name out so that she learns a lesson and tries to do better with customers! I want her to learn you don’t pound out your attitude like you’re top dog and I’m **** on the ground. You work, handle your job girl or walk away and work elsewhere! If I ever get another customer service rep. With an attitude like that again. BELIEVE ME, I’LL GET YOUR JOB DONE! THOSE OF YOU ON THIS BLOG ARE VARY NICE AND WILLING TO HELP. SHE WAS NOT. AND MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS WASTING HER TIME! BADDD BUSINESS!

Frequently, people mistake not getting their way with poor customer service. There is a difference.
I worked in call center operations for years, and frequently I would review the recordings of phone calls from customers who laimed that one of our phone agents was rude, unhelpful, nasty, etc. Almost every instance turned out to be simply someone not getting what they wanted and trying to escalate an issue because they had unrealistic expectations.
This time of year, in particular, there will be long hold times with retailers’ call centers. This is why many places (HSNS icluded) offer a number of self-help options. Why people refuse to take advantage of these and reduce their stress level (and that of everyone else) is beyond me.
