That is cool, to have something to look at, from each place you’ve been! 🙂

Great collection, jmc. I used to collect plates of the same kind of things, but they take up a lot more room. You need to get a magnetic white board to display your collection.

What a unique collection of refrigerator magnets (state, campus & national park)! I am sure that you had a very interesting and lovely display. States, campuses, & national parks in itself tells a person a lot about you and your lifestyle. I like the fact that you emphasized that people know what souvenirs you appreciate. My last refrigerated was decorated with angel magnets and bible scripture magnets. And yeah, with a new fridge, I stopped buying the magnets. I loved reading your collector story. Have a great day.

? What a special collection you have and what a shame that you can’t display them on your fridge anymore..LIzzie is right…you need a board to display them…Thank you for sharing your very interesting story!

LOL, love refrigerator magnets too! I like the nature-themed ones, art/hand-made ones from arts and crafts fairs, and retro/kitschy ones, like mr frog with a tongue and fly bouncing in and out of his mouth. Like Christmas ornaments, they do make great souvenirs when you ( or friends) travel.

Hello ,
I appreciate your post. If I am not happy at a business, I usually don’t complain – I just don’t go back.
But from the business owner’s viewpoint, I think they would want feedback. My Dad was a small business owner. If a customer had a complaint, he wanted to know. He always wanted to improve the business, to stay in business.
As far as the hosts & vendors on air here, at least management can watch & see for themselves.
But yes, people (especially on the internet) can be overly-critical.

Bravo , I completely agree with you! This is the reason I started my thread under HSN TV called “Who’s Your Favorite Host? ” I was so
appalled by all the negativity about the hosts.
I think there’s a difference between constructive criticism and plain hateful criticism. I applaud you for defending these hard working hosts and vendors. We definitely need more positive posts in the community and less bashing/demeaning posts.
It’s so appalling when grown people complain about petty things like accents, mannerisms, or someone’s appearance. Unfortunately, some people thrive on that kind of thing and people tend to feed the negativity… :):womanhappy:

I totally agree with you..absolutely correct! What I do think needs to happen is not even address these kind of topics. All it does is stirs up the complainers. Just like RetlawG74 stated about her topic:
“WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE HOST?” She was appalled at people and what they typed. Let us just leave it alone. I have been with the Forum for about 4 years and every time this kind of topic appears then all “HELL” breaks out. I want everyone of us to get along and stay in harmony with each other. Hopefully I didn’t offend you or anyone else. That’s not my intentions….but it is my opinion. LOVE not WAR!
-
I absolutely agree! Thanks for posting this.

You know what’s funny…when Lorena was criticized for saying “Wal-la,” I’ve been hearing people on TV saying “Wal-la.”
You’re right, we shouldn’t criticize. I’ve been guilty of that before…shame on me!

I agree let someone walk a mile in their shoes. It’s a tough job which only few can master. I have my favorites but appreciate them all:womanhappy: — Bill Greene…:womanwink:

Thank you for sharing:)
The Hosts and ventors are human beings and yes, they do have a very hard job presenting and bringing information about their products:)
I would not be able to do the work they have:)
People should realize The Hosts and Vendors are only doing their jobs the best they know how:)
Thank you for voice your opinion:)
Peace and love,
Linda

I actually LOVE when Adam Freeman goes into on of his laughing fits. I get such a huge kick out of it. I think it’s both funny and adorable at the same time.

I’ve long since have shared my dismay at the whinning and complaining about the hosts and vendors. This goes back a ways with me. I have voiced my opinion here and in “What Grinds Your Gears” in TAY.
I find it childish to say the least to complain about silly nonsense things. What I do agree with, however are the complaints about DG2’s jeans smell. Those are valid complaints. If there are ongoing quality control issues with any vendor I expect those complaints ~ rightfully so. Otherwise, it’s just nitpicking.

I agree, I can understand where the products and service are concerned, but some of the personal attacks are just stupid. I remember my 15 year old daughter reading some of the comments on this forum and she was surprised that they were coming from adults, she said that is just cyber bullying. They should know better. I wish we had the ignore button so you don’t have to scroll down endlless messages with the usual LOL’s and people either adding to the insults or disagreeing to read other posts. I am only interested in deals and the products.
