HSN Managers please relay this consumer friendly wok re-design suggestion to Chef Tsai & thanks.

Dear Chef Ming Tsai,

Please consider a few HSN consumer  friendly re-design Wok Set suggestions I outlined below. (They are derived from my Simply Ming HSN Member Wok Set Consumer Usage).

I purchased your HSN item # 515-181 in the Copper Color which I really love, and I truly liked many aspects of your 4 piece wok Set noted below, but also discovered a dangerous flaw in the wok glass cover, so sadly it was returned, but I would like to include the consumer friendly re-design Wok Set Suggestions I outlined below, since I am cooking all types of foods for many decades and love good stable consumer friendly safe cookware.

I also have many of your HSN cookware designs gracing my kitchen and love them all, and thank you Chef Tsai for making them available to HSN Members at fair prices.

( Simply Ming 4-piece Diamond Platinum Ceramic Nonstick Healthy Wok Set which included the following:

12″ Nonstick wok

• 12″ Glass lid
• 12″ Steamer insert
• Skimmer
• 6 Recipe cards
• Manufacturer’s lifetime limited warranty on wok
• Manufacturer’s 1-year limited warranty on steamer insert and skimmer

Chef Tsai I unfortunately received a defective glass cover which when added to the wok and covered the food I was cooking the glass cover began to make pinging cracking crackling sounds, which to me as a Consumer was a red flag of an impending defective exploding glass cover, so unfortunately I had to return it, and I chose your lovely copper color which I always prefer.

I would respectfully like to offer the following six HSN Member Consumer suggestions outlined below, and hope you will consider a re-design of this item in future, and also offer it at a price point you feel would be fair.

My six Consumer suggestions are as follows, and are derived from using your 4 piece Wok Set noted above:

Consumer Friendly Opinions:

(I felt the wok itself was too heavy and too big to be safely handled, and safely used in my gas stove, on my gas stove cook top, or on my induction burner.

(The long wok handle was not consumer friendly at all, it was really too heavy, and too long & bulky, which made it quite dangerous to safely use and store away).   

Regarding the vented glass cover I would prefer one that is totally shatter proof and safe, so it will not make crackling pinging sounds when used and will not explode and shatter upon continued HSN Member Consumer usage, as already noted in your HSN Simply Ming 4-piece Diamond Platinum Ceramic Nonstick Healthy Wok Set Consumer Reviews.

Chef Ming please consider doing a re-design for a new Wok Set. One which has a casserole type Wok with the same dimensions as your above wok, but eliminating the long heavy dangerous wok handle and placing  helper handles on each side of the wok.

Please make the wok set more HSN Member Consumer friendly, and safer in your re-design including the following:

(I would also love to see all these items in the 6 piece wok set outlined below, to be all dishwasher safe.)

The same 12 inch size deep wok as noted above, in your diamond platinum ceramic non stick design, available in all colors you previously offered, including an abundance of the copper color which seems to always sell out.

Helper handles on each side of the wok in the exact same style of your Paella  Pan and vented glass cover, which I also purchased.  That re-design would make it safer and easier to use, both in the oven and on the oven stove top as well as on your Simply Ming 1800 watt induction burner.  Also with the re-design, it would be so much more lighter and safer to use, and so much easier to store away.

Would also like to see a 12 inch 18/10 stainless steel steamer basket included.

Would also love to have included an authentic Stainless Steel Tempura draining rack for the Wok.

A 12 inch shatter proof glass lid cover with a vent hole for the wok would be wonderful, one designed to be high enough to safely accommodate a stainless steel authentic Wok Tempura rack with fried foods placed on the wok rack to drain excess oils off and covered with the wok glass cover to stay warm until served.

Lastly I just loved your stainless steel slotted skimmer tool and would love that also included but to be re-designed in 18/10 stainless steel.     

Chef Tsai I hope you will consider an upcoming six piece Wok Set with the re-design consumer friendly features I outlined above, and if you offer it on HSN as a Today’s Special I will certainly buy one for myself, as well as gifts for others. I hope you will seriously consider my respectful re-design Consumer friendly suggestions as I will hold off purchasing another wok from other Vendors in the hope that you will soon incorporate one with all the Consumer rich friendly safe features I outlined above, and for that I humbly thank you in advance, and just really love all of your HSN items I have already purchased and safely continue to enjoy.
