You were charged for shipping because HSN’s policy is to authorize for the full amount of the item including the full shipping.  In this instance it makes no sense as this indivdual item is over the $50 threshold to get free shipping.

If you have ever ordered 2 or more items, you get half off your shipping on the 2nd item purchased.  BUT your card will be authorized for the entire shipping price of that 2nd item.

Once HSN processes the payment, the $16.95 shipping will removed from your pending file.  Your real cost will be less the shipping.  But initially HSN includes the shipping which means you have to have enough funds free on your card to account for this.

437-464 that’s the item number I guess. I really just want my money back. But yet they say the can’t cancel because it shipped but I don’t have a tracking number or anything.

Alice, you are thinking of Lisa Mason and her husband Geno (who was/is a hairstylist in NYC). It appears Geno is now in remission from Brain Cancer – Lisa quit QVC to spend more time with him, then he was diagnosed. After that, she started repping for Dr Smigel’s tooth whitening product, quit that, came back to QVC and then quit again when Geno got worse. Now he’s finally in remission and there’s no telling if she’ll be back on the air or not.
