Expedited Shipping

I was wondering how expedited shipping works on items of the day? I ordered the Cricut on Oct 4 with expedited shipping and delivery Oct 7, but it still says packaging. Thx.

, your order is estimated for delivery today. Expedited shipping usually is processed faster than the system updates. At his time I’m unable to pull the tracking information. If your order does not arrive today, please contact me tomorrow and I can refund the s&h.

I ordered an item yesterday and selected the expedited (2-3 day) shipping. When I saw my order receipt it show “Expected Delivery 03/01/17”. I selected the expedited shipping so I could have it by mid-week. I was told that the item is supposed to be at the warehouse and I can not cancel the order but will have to “WAIT UNTIL IT ARRIVES” and then return it. There was no “dialogue” or popup that stated that expedited shipping was not available for the item. Is it me or…….???? :<
