Yes, I would like to know the capacity of this Simply Ming Air Fryer.

This is my first Simply Ming appliance but I own and love several pieces of his cookware.  :womanhappy:  In particular, I am hopeful the ceramic finish on the basket and drawer will be easy to clean thoroughly.  We had a Todd English fryer for a few months and with each successive use, I never felt the basket was completely goop-free.  The goop squicked me out so much that I would not even have donated the fryer even though it was relatively new, it went out in the trash.  We did miss the fryer but until this one, the basket of every model I saw had the same finish as the TE fryer basket.   It will be nice to have one again!

I’ve been debating about ordering this because my kitchen is space challenged but after doing some checking around I decided to give it a try. I live by myself so this should be the perfect for cooking, Amazon has some pretty good recipe books available . I got a pleasant surprise when I checked out, I used my Visa Checkout account and got $20 off which brings the monthly easy pay amount to about $16 a month.  :womanvery-happy:

I’m seriously considering this…largely due to the footprint. It looks manageable and the 2.5 quart capacity would work for our house, as there are only two of us. I did see that they did 3 drumsticks in one sample…that is how many I would make at one time and it’s absurd to turn on the oven for such a small amount. A few fries or tater tots…and being able to roast some veggies for me (other half of the house is vegatablephobic)…would be wonderful.

 I heard during the oncore presentation it was 2.5 Qt. or something close to that.  A caller asked, otherwise it never would have been stated. No where is the capacity stated  online.  I’ve been waiting for Chef Ming Tsai to come out with an air fryer with the Technplon non-stick and this is a disappointment that it is so small.  So I guess I’ll be waiting for a larger size. But shame on HSN for trying to hide a very important fact.  My sister has owned several different sizes of airfryers (assorted brands) and kept on buying a larger size.  This airfryer will probably only be good for one person who doesn’t have a large appetite.

I have Emeril’s air fryer in blue. It also comes with two pans. I got it a few weeks ago when it was the TSV on QVC. Love it!  It cleans up easily and the inside is not non stick. when it is cool just wipe with a clean damp cloth as needed. the basket cleans up easily and I use a Soft toothbrush to go in the holes when needed. We use it almost every day. I have made French fries, Cornish game hens, chicken wings brown nicely, and zucchini fries. It is still available on QVC in red, blue, and black. I have the blue and it is a blue that is one that will match all blues.  No turquoise or green to it. The NuWave my son has and it takes up a lot of room on the counter. I like the air fryer better. It holds all we need to cook to cook for the two of us easiHope this helps. 🙂

I was also wondering about those things..plus How to you get to clean the “splatter” from from the inside.Are the inside walls non-stick?

I was looking at Emeril’s on the other channel Same price but it has accessories and recipe cards..His is 1400 watts and 3.5 qt.

I am wondering the same thing. I purchased a 4.2 qt. air fryer from Evine and I LOVE it.BUT it will barely hold 2 pieces of bread at one time. This one looks like the cooking surface is more oblong than the round one I have but it doesn’t look very big. I would have already purchased this one in a heartbeat if I knew it was at least as big as the one I have because this one does have a 60 min. timer instead of 30 mins. If anyone purchases this one and wants the black accessories that usually go with an air fryer- Evine has several different sets since they sell several size fryers. I have Ming cookware and knives. I don’t understand why HSN isn’t listing the size of the fryer… the pizza Ming put in it isn’t very big and he only had 3 chicken legs at one time and 2 chicken breast in another demo. I wonder if anyone from HSN can tell us the size???
