Email notifications
I received such a quick reply to a question I had, that I thought I would ask another! LOL
I have not received any emails for over a month. I’ve checked my settings, and they’re all good. I checked “save changes” (even thought I didn’t make any) to see if that would reset them. They are not going to my spam folder. I’m just not geting them, and I can’t figure out why. They just suddenly stopped being delivered. This includes notifications of the special value and order confirms.

, I was having the same problem, but finally got it resolved for me. It took about 3 weeks. You have to keep reminding them. Look for my thread titled Communication Preferences here in the CS forum. My last post was on 2/22. Good luck!

If you reported this to IT, I haven’t heard anything. In case you were waiting for me to respond what preferences I wasn’t receiving – I chose preferences today (I had previously removed all due to not receiving anyway). I had not been receiving anything and I chose by email. Thanks for your help.

After reading through the other posts on this thread, I had to come back to ask, , did you ever start getting emails, or get help?
I thought it was interesting that we have been trying for so long and still have no results, and yet another poster with this problem got a resolution fairly quickly.
Btw, I am happy that at least someone got the help asked they for.

It’s a new year and I’m starting with a clean slate; removing all possible sources of irritation that I can.
I first asked for help on 4/14/16 with the fact that I had not received emails for over a month, which would have been in March 2016.
Without going over all the history, I unsubscribed (after some promises of help and out of frustation due to no help), then resubscribed on 8/16/16 due to Sarah’s suggestion that I do so they could (again) work on the problem.
So, that brings us to now. I have had no communication of any updates on my problem, no indication that they are working on my email problem, and after all this time, still no email notifications.
After almost a year, I have unsubscribed again, and will stay that way until the day (if it comes) that I decide I might want to try again. I’m sick of seeing where other people get notified of programs that are coming up and getting birthday coupons, etc, and I still get no help.
Not saying I won’t buy anything (I don’t believe in extremes), but I am definitely going to think about how little I am valued as a customer when I have a legitmate problem and get no help when I ask for it.

I am still getting emails from HSN. Sometime 2-3 a day. I am glad they didn’t stop mine.

I have not received any email notifications in several weeks. I do receive order confirmations and shipping data but no other emails. I have checked my account information and everything is checked off and I saved it. I have cleaned my cookies/cache several times. What’s up with this? I am getting extremely frustrated by this. Please help!

Is someone really working on this? It’s been 6 months since I stopped getting emails, 5 months since I first asked for help.

I have the same issues with the notifications. This has been going on over a year. HSN does not seem concerned with the problem. I gave up months ago trying to get somebody to look into the issue. Very disappointed.

Just wanted to say thanks to ? and ? for doing the only thing you could to help me with my problem, which was to pass along the problem to whatever dept should be able to fix it.
I’m done. I will no longer expect to get email notificaitons about anything from HSN. I have changed my settings to not receive any emails from HSN.
I just read where someone was thanking HSN for the birthday coupon. Was I supposed to get one too? Did I miss out b/c of this problem? I guess I’ll never know. Oh well.

Another month has gone by. No email notifications; no communication from tech support.
There is no problem with my computer. I get all other notifications from other places. But nothing from here.
I might as well quit expecting anything and just give. up :smileysad:

It’s been over 3 months since I have received email notifications from HSN, about 2 since I first asked for help.
I don’t want to sound snarky, but this seems ridiculous. Either the IT dept is not capable of solving the problem or no one cares. I don’t know which is worse.
I’m a long time customer and this is just unacceptable. Guess they don’t care if they have my business or not. Certainly no one has tried to contact me nor update me on the situation and, to me, that speaks volumes…..loud and clear
Typing this post really upsets me because I am not the type of person to complain nor to be so blunt. But…..it is what it is, I guess.
