are the straight talk phones unlocked or able to be unlocked?

my mom ordered a phone for me without telling me. it is a straight talk phone. samsung galaxy sky with airtime included. if we keep it, can i port my phone number over and if i decide i don’t like the service, can i switch back to net 10 and take the phone with me or is it only good for use with straight talk?

Hi , If the one she purchased was Item# 524-654, then sadly it can only be used with TracFone.
