Alerts
Hello, can you please tell me why I seem to get bogus alerts? For example, I have an item called pretty paintings in my favorites. I just received an alert that said the price dropped to 49.95, yet this seems to be the original HSN price. This has happened to me on a number of items in my favorites list. Can you please explain this to me? Thank you.

I’m not sure why you are suggesting that I contact you to confirm the price of an item. I know the price of the item. My question is why I’m getting an alert to tell me that the price of an item has dropped when it is clearly the original price of the item.

Hi , thank you for sharing your concern. Our prices and alerts may change for a variety of reasons which we do not have access to. You are welcome to contact us anytime if you would like to confirm the price of an item.

Thank you for your response. Why did it have to take me calling and posting to find out that the order shipped today? I personally called and received the “I don’t know but soon” answer. Just because the order shipped, doesn’t mean the issue is solved. I am not the only disatisfied customer and I surely won’t be the last should this continue. Unfortunately a tracking number is not removing the bad taste i have in my mouth.

Beautiful pottery collection! I’m really loving the second piece (in the middle), the urn shaped one reminds me of the pottery made in Turkey. Still, I love the pictures portrayed on all three. Just pure lovely. Thank you for showing us the loveliness of your collection. I’m sure you are going to make a lot of money on selling out.

Pink doll, they are over 50 years old probably closer to 100 years old. In all of the long haul moves they are still in pristine condition.

– Cool! Do you know how long she’s had her pieces?

@snowcollector – I don’t know if I have a favorite color….
Maybe crimson, because it’s the most rare. They had trouble with the red bleeding into the white relief (in the early 1900’s) and stopped producing that “dipped” color. The more modern pieces have the color on the back & bottoms of the pieces. But the older pieces were dipped into the color before the relief was applied. So the older pieces are off white on the backs & bottoms.
The platter in the first pic is a dipped piece, probably 100 yrs. old.
