What is your favorite kind of craft project?

I’ve dabbled in so many different kinds of crafts over the years. The one that gave me the most satisfaction (and that I was the best at) was sewing. But now, I really like cardmaking. There are so many great paper crafting products available on HSN. I’m looking forward to another 24 Hour Craft Event!

For many, many years, I have enjoyed creating beautiful Counted Cross stitched samplers, florals, bell pulls, Christmas ornaments and such for family and friends. (My home walls are filled with my creations) But carpal tunnel has greatly effected my hands and I now enjoy card making. Thanks mainly to Hot off the Press (Hello, Paulette and Gail) and Anna Griffin. I LOVE paper crafting and my family now calls me a “Paper Engeneer”. 

Scrapbooking is STILL the best!!!  :catwink:

Thanks to adding some fabulous Crafting Suppliers to the HSN line up, I hardly ever have to buy at retail stores anymore… Of course, I buy Anna Griffin, Crafter’s Companion, WeRMemory Keepers and Paper Wishes to name a few of the top names with the best deals anywhere.

I started making cards in the late 80’s early 90’s… no dies, just good old stamping, hand cutting using templates, etc.   I look back on those cards and think they look so ‘raw’… but I have them because my mom kept EVERY ONE OF THEM in an album, which I’ve inherited. Having those memories are priceless.

With all the latest dies, stickers, and machines we have now anyone can be and look like a professional card designer/maker. My family and friends think I spend hours on each and every card, and sometimes if I’m stamping, coloring and then die-cutting, I might spend an hour or so, but with all the great assistance from HSN suppliers we don’t have to.

My favorite is Anna Griffin card making. I have been a fan for over 15 years. I love all of Anna product but I love the embellishment.

As well as the flowers what can I say I love craft day.

I can’t just pick one crafting project!  I love card making, stamping, die cutting.  Also love Anna Griffin’s kits when I have to get something together quickly.  Starting to get into scrapbooking and having fun with that!  Also do a little jewelry making using a wire wrap technique.  Fun stuff!

Very excited about the today special.  Crafter’s Companion’s products are awesome!  Can’t wait to get this machine.

Question…

Would the Gemini cut thru an aluminum can?  I ask because I die cut with the soda cans.

Is the Favorite Flowers  489-138 the original or the #2 as Anna says???

although it may be a dying art, i really like card making or embellishing. i just love stickers and have loved them since i was a small child. add in some glitter, stamps, felt and appliques and i am done. just love it!! xoxo

Suzanne,  I have done every kind of crafting over the last 50 years.  (I was very young when I learn to crochet)  I have grown through plastic canvas to rug hooking to card making to mixed media.  My absolute favorite part of crafting is die cutting!!!   I have 2 Cuttlebugs, an Evolution, a Grand Calibur, and a Big Shot.  Of course I have a Cricut but do not use it much as I felt I was cheating on my Cuttingbug.  I, too, cannot remember a time when I didn’t craft.  I, too, am from North Carolina, about 15 miles from Anna’s family.  (I sent Anna a tape runner when she made me laugh when she ran out of adhesive on the pop-up cards and threw one.  My little brother had just died and I thought I would never laugh again) 

I love a lot of different crafts.  Love Anna Griffins the best.  I have made my Christmas Cards for a long time.  Do you know when Anna will have Christmas designs out.  I am also getting into die cutting.

My favorite craft is cardmaking, especially with Anna’s products!

I am very much into cardmaking. with all of the brands and stylesof dies on the market, you can make beautiful cards and never repeat a design.

Suzanne, I am wondering if Sara’s new Gemeni machine has replacement plates available. We all know over time the plates wear out. I purchased a machine last year that still does not have replacement plates available, and it is very frustrating.
