Suggestions for the next 24 Hour Crafting Show……..
What would you like to see?
I would like to see: Crochet & Knitting items, Quilling items

I would LOVE to see more organization items – was there a door-mount organization TS last year? Yes? Bring that back. If there was a fold out work surface too boot, all the better.

Any more ideas…….? ??

Hi Everyone, Happy New Year!!!
I would like to see some sewing presentations… Singer! (I miss the lady (can’t remember her name) who did those Singer machine demos – I learned a lot from her).!!!
I agree with Wilddietta, Crocheting & Knitting items, Quilling items
I also miss Martha Stewart, please bring her back!
I adore Anna Griffin… absolutely love her creations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (she’s a keeper)
Thanks,
Pat

I’m pretty happy with the card creation selections we have to choose from, but I wouldn’t mind seeing more die cutting vendors presentations.. yeah, Sizzix and Spellbinders are for sale here, but for the most part they’re very old designs, would love to see some of their staff here to show us their new machines and dies.. show us some new and clever ways to use them, etc.
Beading, nice beading materials would be wonderful, large beads, real gems etc.. not just seed beads…we can buy those anywhere.
The only other thing I’d love to see is actual artist supplies, have some of the best watercolorist’s or oil painters with lines demostrate their products and sell them here.
IIRC, Martha Stewart Crafts is no more…as far as Martha is concerned, that portion of her business was sold over a year ago or more. I miss her too.

Tim Holtz distress inks. How to use different inks and stamps and pads in general. I guess they aren’t big enough ticket items, but HSN could make a bundle kit.
Every presenter who sells stamps should tell how they recommend you clean their stamps.
I’d like to see the presenter get through the presentation without the on air host butting in and saying the same thing over and over just as the presenter is about to finish a project. We WANT to buy. Just let us see what we’re buying.
Personally, I don’t get anything out of the call ins. I think it takes up time that could be put to better use with more demonstrations, but that’s just me. I know everyone wants to talk to Anna Griffin.

I agree with the other suggestions, however, I would like to see not so much of one vendor, and allow other vendors to show you their stamps etc, ways to use them, and longer presentations on actual physical demonstrations rather than lengthy shows on just one vendor.

More ideas?

How about more craft shows in general.
You could break them out by categories and show them on their own day and run them on the off months from each other.
Ex:
Sewing, Knitting, and Needle work in February
Paper Crafts, Stamping, Quilling – March
Offer more basic tools – Like the Gemini Plates – Magentic Plates for Cuddle Bug.
Paper of different sizes – like 12 x 24.
I love Anna Griffin and Crafter Companion as my wallet can prove, but there are some many others out there it would be great to see what they offer also.
For me I could do with less coin shows, makeup shows but again I know everyone has their own interests.

Hi Everyone,
Thank you Veepee, for the Singer Sewing lady’s name (Darlene Cahill) – I do miss her!
I personally don’t mind seeing Anna Griffin’s presentation on a regular basis, her designs are extremely inspiring which I seem to purchase more of than anyone else.
I do like Crafter’s Companion and have purchase some of her items
I also like Tim Holtz, but I don’t remember ever seeing him on HSN (I may be wrong though).
A Spellbinder presentation would be nice!
I guess some of these Designers don’t have the impetus to sell their wares on HSN (hence ‘hooray’ for Anna Griffin and Crafter’s Companion).
I tried to watch the Coin show presentation (I use to collect coins as a kid), but it was so boring… I guess “to each his own”.
HSN, please don’t stop the 24-hour Craft Shows… LUV THEM!!!!!

I would like more shows with yarn- knitting, crochet, yarn, weaving, etc
I would like decorative painting items.
I would like jewelry making items and beads.
I would like sewing patterns.
Thanks,
Roomey

I’m starting to agree with several of the posters in this thread, that there are WAY TOO MANY Call Ins. I’ve been watching a couple of the craft shows from my DVR each day, since the Jan 10th 24 hour special. Clearly I work full time, so have to tape the majority of them to watch at later, more covenient times.
Way too much time spent congratulating Anna on her 7 years, with too many call ins, skypes, cards presented to her, etc, in almost every show I watched. Those are getting old. Spend more time focused on the products, and their uses, and ideas for additional uses of said products.
With that said, I know I’m not the only one that would love to see some Crafting shows on WEEKENDS Please!!!!!

No more cards please….

I don’t mind the hours and hours devoted to Anna Griffin and Crafter’s Companion because obviously both brands are huge money-makers for HSN. But I do have a problem with HSN, because they are major brands, not anticipating the possible high demand for those products and ordering more than enough. This past Crafts Day I ordered but never received the Gemini. When I made an inquire I was informed it was out of stock (I have issues with the way this way handled but I will address those in a different forum). But the Gemini sold out in October so why wasn’t a larger order placed in anticipating for the possible demand in Jnauary? I had the same problem in October when I purchased Crafter’s Companion die sets and cancelled after several weeks without notification from HSN regarding the status (extended delivery is not an excuse for not communicating with shoppers on the status of purchases – I personally think that is lousy customer service. Send a emaill blast to those waiting for a product with an update).
I’m just saying…
