Singer Sewers Windows 10 and embroidery machines
I tried and I will not tell you what I got when I tried but I will be calling singer today.
If you did hope you got it going. If you did please let me know how you did it without calling singer.
Thanks.

Wow how confusing is my post here??
This is what I was talking about and not trying to scare any of you singer embroidery sewers and getting a new computer with windows 10 operating system on it.
I bought a new laptop computer with windows 10 OS although I am not a fan of that OS. I installed my sesqu 6000 futura 4-1 software on the laptop. My computer told me that my sewing machine was not compatible with the operating system.
I then contacted singer they told me to use the windows 8 patch that they have listed in the futura support section of their web site. I am thinking that holds for all the Singer embroidery sewing machines.
I have not done this as of yet but I will try it out and see if it works. Singer says if I have a problem to contact them again.
So just to give you singer folks a heads up. I will be more then likely the first to try this out.
If you have windows 10 new computer or even did the update and are able to embroider with your singer please let me know how you did it if you did not use the windows 8 patch especially if you went from windows 7 OS and did not contact singer. You windows 8 folks I would think you should be good to go and can still embroider.
Thank you for reading

UPDATE
Just to let you singer embroidery sewing machines owners KNOW. That the information from the Singer Customer Service Rep. Did indeed work perfectly. I have now updated the windows 8patch for my shinny new laptop windows 10 Operating system and it indeeds does work. It now recognizes my My SESQ6000 Futura 4-1 sewing machine that I bought here at HSN. I love that machine and it serves me well.
If you have the SESQ6000 or other singer embroidery machine and need to do the update go to the support section of Singerco and look for the patch and then read the instructions and you should be good to go.

Just to update.
I did an embroidery project to see how windows 8 patch worked and it worked out very nicely. My SESQ6000 Singer Futura 4-1 embroidered the words on my tote bag that I am making for my Ultimate crafters tool Craftiers Companion. I embroidered the words My Crafting Tote.
I also installed all the software for my Sesqu6000 Hyperfont, Auto punch, Photo Stitch and Editing.
I also installed The Multi-Hoop Embroidery Designs CD. The one wih ten Multihooping designs. This is all the software from singer for these machines except for the 3900 designs cd. I see it listed now for 10.00usd here at HSN. Interesting.
Well anyway I just wanted to let the singer sewing folks that the windows 8 patch does work for the windows 10 computer operating system.
So if you are planning on getting a new computer just for embroidery and it has window 10 on it now you know what to do to get your singer embroidery machine up running.
That is all for now,

Good Day all,
I just ordered the 3900 singer stock designs item #323-538. On clearance for 10.USD plus shipping and tax. Under 15.00 USD. Good price if the software indeed works on my shinny new windows 10 laptop.
I read in the reviews that someone is using windows 8 and it did work for them. I am thinking then it should work in windows 10.
I tried this before back in in 2012 on my then shinny new computer and it would not work with windows 7. I tried three different disks and for some reason my laptop at that time would not except it to use and work.
Here I am giving it another chance to see how it will work with the new laptop. I was in touch with singer and an awesome singer CS rep was not sure if it would and stated she used it with windows 7. It worked perfectly for her.
We will see. If it does work I will post about it hear and let all you singer people that have shinny new computers with windows 10 know if it works. I am seeing this item listed else where and it is way way more expensive then HSN. Like I said if this works with my singer and my laptop this is an incredible deal. I paid three times the price of this when I first purchased it here at HSN.
As always I am putting my good faith in HSN and Singer. So we will see wish me luck.

HI all you singer sewers and embroiders,
I just wanted to update you all and let you know that I purchased item #215-262 Polylite 60wt thread by Sulky for using with my Singer embroidery sewing machine.
I think it is 60wt that I usually use for bobbin thread with white when I use my machine. I wanted to try this because it is polyester and I really like using that to embroider with however I use a heavier weight.
If this is to light I can always use it for bobbin thread. It is on clearance 10pak for 19.95 usd. The reviews are good. The colors seem nice and will replace some I have already used. I am using Sulky 40wt rayon thread. They are very nice and have a nice sheen to them. However I have used polyester thread too and like that better.
My 3900 designs singer cd will be in my hands tomorrow. I will let you all know how it goes. I have my fingers and my toes crossed that this will work this time around. The designs might be simple as reviews have said but that is ok for me at least I can add them to my other singer designs and have more at my disposal.
Well wishing you all happy sewing and remember Darlene should be at HSN on the 28th of this month. I for one can not waite to see her it has been a very long time.

Update Update,
Just to let all you singer embroidery folks know. I got my Singer 3900 designs today. Yay it works I have already downloaded and installed over 1,000 designs. Now I do not think I will use all of the 3900 but I hope to use many of them. For the price I did not go wrong. You can pay 10.00 usd for just one embroidery design to use with your machine. So for under 15.00 usd with shipping and tax. I got a bunch for something like .39 cents each.
In my opinion this was a good deal. Lots to play with and try out. I like the carousel Horses and the deer and moose designs. I also like the nautical designs. Lots of Christmas designs. Some Halloween and some Thanks Giving, Easter. Lots of Children designs, Boarders and fonts Fishing designs and mermaids etc. Not bad not bad at all.
Well happy sewing.

Hi all you sewers embroiderers,
Just to let you all know I have been checking out my 3900 design cd from Singer.
It all looks pretty good. I have downloaded now more designs. Plus I am printing out the designs and making my design booklet. They print out very nicely and this way I will be able to just look in the book and look for the design and the design number then go right to my furtura program and set it up for embroidering. Pretty neat.
The designs also work with the color palette inside the futura software and you can change the colors of the designs to whatever colors of thread you want to use. For example: They have some Halloween designs. However their thread colors for a moon and bats design, the bats are green.
I wanted black bats so I changed the whole design to the colors I wanted which were a yellow moon and black bats. When I was done the design look really nice. I have not stitched anything out yet. I am still in the process of setting things up to the way I want it. Just takes a little time.
I will try to post up some pictures of the started booklet and let you see some of the designs. The Christmas ones are really very nice and plentiful. So for the Christmas embroiderers you have lots to choose from.
Thanks for reading,
