Pj’s are done used my singer heavy duty 5532
Hi all,:smileyhappy:
I finished my hubby’s camo pj’s or lounge pants. these pj bottoms are made from fleece, Camouflage fleece.
I have never made pants before for myself or anyone else never mind for a man. they have four pockets on them one on each side of the legs and two on the back area. If I say so myself this time I think I made something that came out very nice.:smileyhappy:
I used my Singer Heavy Duty sewing machine that I purchased here at HSN.
This is as stated the heavy duty 5532. HSN carries the Singer 4432 item # 418-261. this machine also boasts the 32 stitches built in plus loads of pressure feet. I really like mine and have sewn faux fur on it also. It just sews heavy fabric really well.
Here are the pictures. Men pj’s are well just men stuff. So nothing frilly or fancy here. Take a look at my creation oh and yes I did use a manufactured pattern for this project.
This view is the right leg showing pocket
This is the left leg showing pocket
Next is a close up of one of the side pockets.
Next is a picture of one of the back pockets and the waistband.
Well there it is pj’s sewn and posted up for all to see.
thank you for taking a look and watch for my next project.

My goodness CupaTea is there nothing crafty you can’t do. I am so impressed. I was a straight A student in high school and almost failed home ec when we had sewing. I am green with envy over your talents. Keep crafting and keep posting I love looking! :womanhappy::heart:

Just an update here:smileyhappy:
The wiener dog mans lounging pjs and the the pink and black shoes and boots ladies pjs have been delivered and tried on and they are a perfect fit.:smileyhappy: Thank goodness for that:smileyhappy:.
If they did not fit I would have been very sad with myself. The Young man and Young lady liked them and they did look very nice on them. They were happy to get them and wear them on the past chilly nights.
Now on to the Nightgown. Same pink and black shoe and boot fabric. We will see how that turns out.
Fingers crossed.:smileyhappy:

Hello everyone,
I am finally posting up my pictures of my finished young lady pj’s. It took me a while as I had problems with the sleeves. Now this is a peasant style pj lounge top. What happened is I miss read the instructions. I sewed the whole sleeves under arm up thinking that it all had to be sewed together before attaching to the top. Well that was not the case. I had to take the both sleeves apart and then just sew one little section of the sleeve and then attach and sew on the sleeves to the top as an opened sleeve.
Once I got that done it took me awhile to get it all together I finally did. the two pieces are finished and now it is on to the Nightgown. I am going to be taking a break from sewing for the rest of this week. this outfit sewed me out.
Here are the pictures of the lounge pj set. I hope you like boots and shoes.:smileyhappy:
I myself am not crazy about the fabric or the pattern. I would not get this pattern again.
Here are the Pictures
First picture is of the top only notice the little bow that was made with my craftiers Companion Ultimate tool bow maker on that kit.
Next is a picture of the set together on my model dummy.
Thank you for looking at my wares. Now to go on to CC U T to make some birthday cards.:smileyhappy:

I hope to have it done today. Then I will take a short brake from sewing. I too think I need a rest from it.
Thank you for all your encouragement and I will post up what I have finished once I am done.

Hi all trying this again I do not know what happened to the post I just made.
Update: I have now finished round one of the lady loungers. This is light weight flannel and it feels very light weight on. I still have a top and night gown to make out of this same material.
This particular young lady likes shoes and the color hot pink. Thought this would suit her.
I think these are a bit baggy but that adds to the light weight feel. These loungers do seem very comfy.
First picture is of the loungers folded in half length wise.
Next picture is of the loungers laid out leg to leg to show the fullness.
Well there they are round one done. On to the next the the top and night gown.
Thank you all for stopping in to take a look. If by chance you see my first posting of these loungers then you have two chances to check them out:smileyhappy: I really do not know what happened but when I posted up and hit the post button it disappeared.

Good Morning everyone,
I am here to do an update on my sewing. I finished the shirt that goes with these lounging pants. Take a look.
Here is the front of the shirt
here is the back of the shirt
Hubby loves this out fit. He finally gave me the lounging pants to wash after wearing them for several days. :smileylol:
Now he is wearing the shirt. :smileyhappy: I wonder how long before I get that into the laundry.
I am still sewing. I will be making more lounge pants for the young men in my life. Than some pjs for the young ladies in my life.
Happy Sewing and crafting,

Hi all,
These Pjs went over very big for Christmas. Hubby loved them.
I am now on the verge of making some more. This time I will be using flannel instead of fleece. I will be making four more sets of pjs. Oh my I have my work cut out for me. :smileyhappy:

Hello DazedandConfused:smileyhappy:,
Thank you for stopping by and I am glad you like my camo pants for the hubby.:smileyhappy:
I remember your post about looking for a sewing machine for your Young Lady. I am glad you found a sewing machine a singer.
Oh yes do get back into sewing it is rewarding and satisfying to see what one can create. I do not sew all things as good as I did these camo PJ’s. I just hope I can stay in the groove I was in while sewing these.:smileyhappy:
Thank you DazedAndConfused for stopping by it was so nice to see you again:smileyhappy:
Good luck on getting more sewing machines.:smileyhappy:

Hello Possum29:smileyhappy:
Thank you I am glad you like the camo pj’s.
I am with you on the cushions.:smileyhappy: You have no idea as to what a project I have with making boxed cushions. I started it and did the sew it rip it out trick. I have had it on the back burner now for awhile. It is one of my winter sewing projects that I hope to accomplish this winter season:smileyhappy:
These are not the average box cushion for a single lounge chair or single seat and back. These are for a banquet for a camper. Not as easy as it looked when I check out the double foamed cushion, plus back double foamed cushion times 4.
Oh no not youtube. There are kids out there that can sew circles around me. I read in a post that one person made three pairs of lounge pj bottoms in three hours.
this took me I think 2-3 weeks.
I laid them out and freaked out about cutting them out. So I let them sit laid out on the table. Then I bucked up and said go for it no matter how it works out. Once I started out with the pockets it just seemed to flow for me.
Youtube oh my I can see that one no not me. It would really take me out of my comfort zone.:smileyhappy:
Well thank you for stopping by as always it is a pleasure to see you:smileyhappy:
