My Craftier’s Companion Ultimate tool tote bag with embroidery

I have also made some boxes with my Brother scanncut. I also made some drawings from designs found in my scanncut. I used my new universal pen holder and just use a regular ball point pen.

I then colored them in with my spectrum noir 72 markers pack that I bought here on HSN

item # 383-895.

When I was done I took them back to my scanncut and cut them out. I could place these on to my boxes but I have another idea for them.

To make boxes I have a flash drive with box designs on it. For those of you that have the cm350H purchased here on HSN item # 442-750. This item is sold out. You should have a few 3d designs like some boxes in your designs found with in your scanncut. When I cut my boxes I found that leaving them the exact size as is stated for them, I got a better cut. When I tried to enlarge them my cut was off meaning it cut it out nicely but when I went to glue it together parts of the scored sides did not match up correctly.

These boxes are mostly a sweet treat style box or for small gifts. The box that I made is nice for a bracelet earrings or a small necklace gift. Plus treats like cookies or several candies etc.

The little house is my favorite box. I could really dress it up with some detail like grass and a tree with a little bird or what I would really like to do is make it a ginger bread house and make several and use it as a little Christmas village. I can see many possibilities with this little house. I used A.G. Card stock for it and it cut very nicely and scored very nicely and folder  very nicely using my scanncut.

the tree is really green as is the wreath. Something is up with my camera.

This is one of the many snow flake designs.

Later I will post up pictures of the Camo PJ’s. I just need to do the waistband and hem the legs. Wish me luck on that

Hi Again, My Friend. I just popped back in to check up on all the posts I’ve missed.  Thanks for explaining your faux quilting , I really liike the way you did it. I love the box you made. Is there a way to make dividers for it? I need something like that for my little Christmas village people and accessories, but I would need to customize the dividers to size. Just an update on my tote. I forgot to mention that I did guilt it. However my rendition of quilting is what I call faux quilting, meaning I measured out the squares after sewing the back middle and front together. I then sewed down on the lines with my sewing machine. To get the effect of quilting without going to all the steps of cutting squares and sewing them together and then sewing it to the middle fabric and then sewing it down and making it then one piece.

It is much easier for me to do this and less time consuming for me as I would more then likely never finish it.

I took to long on finishing this really simple project any way.

As I am using this CC tote I am really liking it better then I thought.

I finally got to make a box using the Ultimate crafting tool that I bought here.

I created this little plain box out of cheaper card stock and followed the directions using the basic beginner dvd for the Ultimate tool and watched from my new computer.

The box measures 41/2wide x7"Longx2" deep.

With that said you can decorate the box as you would like. I did not because I wanted to get it posted here. I do find the box to be very functional and sturdy even for using cheaper card stock.

I can use the box for putting little bits an bobs or anything that will fit in it.

Here are two pictures of the box one with lid and one showing the inside of the box and the lid off to the side.

I did like creating this but I a going to go back to my scan n cut and check out the my 3D box usb flash drive and try to create a box similar to this if I have one. I forgot to say what board I used from the Ultimate tool birthday addition. I used the Boxer board that came with mine. My card stock was 8.5×11 standard card stock.

I will use my A.G. card stock and see how that works outs.

Great job, CupaTea!! Your pictures and description are wonderful.  I can understand why you might feel the webbing might work better for the handles.  Anyway, your sewing is terrific.  You should be real proud of this project.  I love the colors and the embroidery.  Thanks so much for sharing what you do!!

Ohhh, I LIKE that sewing machine! Great job on the tote. It’s really pretty and practical. Looks like you thought of everything. I wanted to let you know, I bought AG’s 12 x 24 paper to make some paper lanterns, including the ones from her holiday decor cartridges. So I’ve added even more to my list of projects that never get done. LOL. I also picked up some 11 x 17 cardstock that I found at a couple of the big chain hobby and craft stores.  I’ve got my eye on item no. 426-490 the Crafter’s Companion "The Big Score" scoring board. I like that it is 12 x 18, instead of your standard 12 x 12 size. It should come in handy with these larger papers. I just hate buying another scorer when I have 3 already. Good luck on your Hubby’s PJs although I doubt you need it. From your pictures it looks like you’ve got a pretty good handle on sewing.:smileyhappy: Always wonderful talking crafts and fun projects with you,CupaTea.
