Joy Mangano Clothes-it-all quilted luggage
I know that the Joy Mangano quilted luggage is new but what has your experience been with the clothes-it-all systems? . I’m tempted to buy, because the garment option is something different, but JM’s products don’t always have the best ratings. HSN took off the previous editions of luggage and their ratings just in time to debut the quilted edition making me more hesitant to buy since I have nothing to compare it to.

Joy Mangano quilted luggage design is taken from Iman. I think she is ripping Iman off for her designs the gold emblems the upward round shape. This is all of IMANs design. I hope she has paid her or Iman is being totally ripped off, and Joy is acting like she is her friend. I dont think so!!

If I was looking for Luggage I would have purchased the quilted luggage. I believe her traveling pieces are rated pretty good.

We bought probably one of Joy’s original clothes-it-all’s in 2004. We tried packing the hanging closet system full like Joy did, and there was no way we were going to be able to close up the bag. We took out the hanging closet, and have used the suitcase without it ever since. I’m not sure the value of having clothes on hangers inside a suitcase. If I pack Joy’s little steamer, I don’t worry if clothes get a little wrinkled in transit.
The suitcase, without the hanging closet, has been a workhorse. It’s been on many plane trips, train trips and car trips, and has never been treated gently. The black has faded/changed to an almost brown, which actually makes it easier to spot on an airport luggage carousel. The only thing that broke, and that was just recently, was one of the zipper pulls which I have since replaced.
So I appreciate the quality of the luggage, but the clothes-it-all system was a
gimmickfeature that didn’t work out for us.
