FYI Windows 10, Cricut Bluetooth and Design Space!
I received a notification in the form of the Windows window on the bottom right hand side of the bottom deskt top bar. It was an app letting me know Windows is being realeased in July. I am running 8.1 and this made me fill a bit uneasy so I called cricut to see what was going to happen with design space and machines. They are not ready but hope to be before the new realease of Windows. This little app checks your pc for problems that may arise after iwindows 10 is installed.. The only problems I am showing is Bluetooth and he plugin s for design space and software related to cricut machine. Cricut said do not upgrade to Windows till they have their fixes ready. If you install Windows 10 before your design space will not work. Also incase you did not know Windows will be dropping Windows 7 just as they did with Windows xp. Not sure of the date but they will not support it. very much longer. There are posts about getting your winows upgrade on the net and what the requirements are. Hope this will help you all to be ready.

Thanks Jaylo680,
for your information here about windows 10. I do have windows 7 pro 64 bit. You have confirmed my thoughts on windows 7. I too have the windows 10 icon on my taskbar. My computer is 7 yrs old so I am hoping to buy a new one with windows 10 on it. I will wait and read reviews about windows 10 before I get one.
I do not have the Cricut I have the brother Scan N Cut so I would think the advice would be similar as to what you stated here about the cricut.
Thanks for the heads up:smileyhappy:

Does anyone know if Cricut has applied their fixes for this problem? I don’t want to upgrade to Windows 10 until I’m sure that I can still use Design Space. Any new information on this will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Windows 7 support will be here another 5 years at minimum. Plus, you can still continue using it once they stop; it will still work. I recommend NOT "upgrading" to Windows 10. Save yourself the stress, folks. Unless that’s your thing! Also, you can do an Internet search on how to get rid of that unasked-for Windows button on your taskbar.

These have been on several times….but now this latest one is improved upon.
I bought one, and I’m not in snow country…I’m in Florida. My wipers are very
expensive, so I bought to help protect the inside of car from heat and keep wipers
from having to be replaced so often due to the sun. I got the silver one to match
my silver car.

I don’t have to worry abut Snow. I’m around so many oak and pine trees. During Autumn and Winter, leaves are everywhere. We bought a couple to cover up the windshields in Summer, Autumn and Winter when the cars are left outside for long periods of time.

I bought one of these for the first time. Looks good with the improvements they made.
I have used other things before: tarps, blankets, etc. Those get to be a pain after a while lol.

This looked real cheap to me. I bought one from another shopping channel a month ago and haven’t needed to use it yet.

If made out of proper material that is created to do the job…thin does not necessarily
mean cheap, and could mean more efficent to use. Of course, when I receive mine
and use it, I’ll know for sure.

I bought these only because I do not buy anything from QVC. I would rather have had the ones that the Q has on, because of the attachments (hooking onto the side mirrors with elastic instead of having to open BOTH doors to put the flap inside and hope it stays).
Also, the Q’s have NFL teams on them, which I hope that HSN and Akos offer at some point.
We don’t have a LOT of snow here in Western WA but we have tons of icy mornings, and this will be a super timesaver once it starts getting cold enough to freeze on a regular basis. They are cheap, but they are also inexpensive and I’m okay with that.

As I was reading these post, some of you complained about not having that piece to tuck in the car. Wishing you did or did not. I guess some of you are not thinking straight. I assume the piece was added due to theft. See anybody can just steal it off the car with just the elastic attachments. But with it tucked in the car supposedly they can’t. Now we have just the elastic straps and had no problem, yet. So the newer models have that flap which I guess makes it un-steal-able! People can always cut that off also. Oh well, just wondering if anybody had any problems with that issue yet? Thanks!
