Cuttlebug Version 2 vs Version 3 — Can someone explain the differences?
I’m thinking of ordering the Cuttlebug V.3, but I’m hoping someone can tell me what makes it “new and improved” over the older Cuttlebug models.
Thanks for any information anyone can provide! The Cuttlebug has been mentioned several times tonight but there hasn’t been a full presentation so I haven’t heard many details about it other than the colors that are available.

I asked that question, also. If you got the Anna Griffin gold and cream that was previously on HSN, that came with the folders, it is the same machine. The one today has the magnetic plate with it. I have the long magnetic plate offered on HSN, but will definately get the new smaller one when it becomes available.

I just bought the Spellbinders Grand Calibur Junior Magnetic Placement Mats 2-Pack #114-3328 it fits my Cuttlebug. I just put one of my Cuttlebug plates on top and trimmed the magnet pad and it fits perfect. The mat is a rubber magnet pad.

The difference with each version of the Cuttlebugs are the plates they offer. In the new version #3 here is what you get:
Cuttlebug machine choice of 3 colors with: – A (6″ x 8″) plate – 2 B (6″ x 8″) plates – 6″ x 8″ Rubber embossing mat – 6″ x 8″ Magnetic cutting mat – Instruction manual (The C Plate is not offered but needed)
