Just wanted to do an update. It is here and I have already organized it. Oh and yes the 4 loose boads do fit inside the tool box. The only thing that I can not get in are the two extra dvd’s
It is not lite it is well built I will say that.
I have to watch the dvds and learn how to use this tool. This is another new crafting item that I will be learning how to use.

I bought the Crafters Companion a while back and when you watch the DVD’s there is a section that explains how to make the embossing easier. I had a hard time also with cardstock, She uses a product that sounds like it makes it go alot easier. Maybe HSN will carry more of the products from this company online. I wanted the accessory kit for the Auqua pens but it sold out too fast, waiting to see them return. I love Sara and her demos!

Hi CupaTea, yes I love Darlene Cahill also. I have 2 machines I bought from HSN, I also have an embroidery machine that cost as much as a car. (I wish I had known about HSN when I bought it) and I have an older sewing machine both Brothers and I also have a serger. Each does something different…..LOL. My husband couldn’t understand why I needed all of them, but he is pretty cool and doesn’t really care. I just said I need them for different things………when his eyes started to glaze over I quit explaining…..LOL
I think Sara mentioned something about the product I was talking about, making it easier to emboss by making it so that the stylus slides across the paper easier and she said it doesn’t leave any residue. It might be like that lilttle bag of chalk like stuff you put on cards to keep the embossing flakes from sticking to the whole card. I have to watch the DVD again and see what it is called. I love listening to Sara Davies talk.

Just to let it out that I did scan in some of the designs from U.T. Yes the scan n cut showed them up and I cut them out. Very nice to know I can use these as designs for my snc.

Another heads up about the Ultimate tool. As for the three dvds that come with this crafting tool. Two can be watched on a computer and one can only be watched on a dvd player. The two that you can watch on the computer are:
The Sweet treats dvd
The Video tutorials dvd. This is the one that I think is standard with the Crafter’s Companion Ultimate tool.
Here are a few pictures of what I printed out from the sweet Treats DVD. I only printed out on 8.5×11 card stock paper. I use the Spectrum Noir card stock paper that I bought to use with my S. N. markers.
The third pic should have been the last pic showing it scanned in to my scan n cut.
I did cut them out and I outlined them with a fine tip sharpie to give the edges more depth. I will take a pic of them and show you. I will say they did cut rather nicely. I have just make sure I have my cut pressure and my blade set correctly.
Enjoy and hope you are using your Crafter’s Companion Tool and post up what you have made with it.

Here is a pic of what I made with these designs. A little purse made with the rose paper design pattern and the flowers. I have not cut out the little flags yet. The purse is from my 3d designs usb. I had to reduce down the size to fit my paper. That is why it is small.
The flowers are the actual size of the downloadable design from Crafter’s Companion sweet treats dvd.

My new project for my Crafter’s Companion Ultimate Tool will be a tote bag to carry it in. I am going to try and sew one out. I am going to try and add in some pockets on the inside to hold the dvd’s. Some pockets on the outside to hold my folder that I created for it to hold all my test and practice sheets. Plus my design papers that I print off from the Sweet Treats dvd. I do not know if this will hold any of my completed or uncompleted projects. I think if I make it big enough then it should.
Well I just wanted to give an update as to what is next on my list for this item.
I also like the idea that I can incorporate the U. T. with my brother scan n cut.:smileyhappy:

Just a little update on this item. I find it a little difficult to use this. I was using the envelope board and I find it hard to work with. I guess I really have to practice with it more. I did get much better results on the embossing then I did in the beginning. Lots of hands on work and lots of hand cutting. Oh my. I still have to give the review. I give maybe the five stars but only because of the price I paid.

Update,
I am still making my tote bag for the C.C. U..T. I have taken a very simple idea and made it complicated. I am adding in a inside pocket and an outside pocket. I still have to work on the back piece. I just hope it comes out ok. As this design is all from my head no pattern, no real measurements just figure it measure the ultimate tool check the length and width of the boards etc.
I have the front panel mostly done just have to sew the side panels and the front pocket on. Then that will be done. Then I have to do the pack panel sew the inside pocket in then attach it to the side and bottom panel then I am good to go.
With the side panels it gives me a lot more inside room. Hope it all works out.
