Craft question….
I am trying make a fan for a wedding program. Is there any item I can purchase to make the scalloped edge on the top of the fan? Any help would be appreciated.

Might be a little late to suggest this, I love the MS punches and know the one people have suggested, but I also understand many of the retail stores have stopped stocking the MS punches as of late…. and you have to be very careful lining up the punch ‘display’ for the continous scalloped edge, which you might be great at doing, but some people complain about matching the punched area.
I thought you could also think about the Fiskars scallop scissors, which would give you nice edge as well –maybe not as decorative as the punch– sometimes I’ve seen them in 2 packs in the “big box discount stores” crafts section. Good luck!

Thank you for all of your suggestions. I will look now.

Search on “Martha Steward Deep Edge Punch”. They are pretty and can be used alone. You don’t have to buy a machine to use them like you do with dies.

I don’t know the size you are making the fan, but my thought is a Martha Stewart punch. If you punch the edge before folding the fan that could make a beautiful edge.
Another thought would be Crafters Companion or Anna Griffin dies. They both have beautiful dies with a scalloped edge.
Hope that helps!
