Craft Day Purchases still in Packaging?

I ordered my 4 craft purchases Oct 5th and mine is still in Packaging status too! The 3 craft items I ordered the day after on Oct 6th, I just got yesterday.  It doesn’t make sense. My Granddaughter and I were going to do Christmas Cards together over the weekend but doesn’t look like it going to happen. I agree with the person who said that once they start sending all the purchases, they should send them Express Mail(with no extra charge) since we’ve all waited so long. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! 

I have always loved HSN’s craft days but this is crazy, it’s been a week and still packaging. It sounds as if we’ve heard every reason from the hurricane to technical difficulties. I think the least HSN could do is contact us and let us know why there is a delay. Their lack of communication bothers me.

So most of my items are in packaging and a couple are listed as extended delivery.  Is HSN waiting for these additional items to come in before they ship all my items?  Is this due to the “we’ll ship all your craft items for $5” deal?

How can we cancel items that are in “packaging” status?  Does anyone know?

Mine are still in packaging too, last I checked which was in the early morning hours. I don’t know what is going on.

With all the delays, they need to send these things out express delivery instead of having all these customers wait.  I’m waiting on the new Cricut 2 and a cuttlebug.  This is my first time shopping with HSN, and it’s probably my last.  I hope to receive something soon or I will be cancelling my order.

I ordered the new cricut machine at 12:00 am on the 5th . . . the exact time it aired.  It’s still in packaging.  I was told it would get to me by the 15th.  I just received an email saying that it will be another 10 days before it’s shipped.

Oh, wow, YES, I was just checking this as well and came to the community to see if anyone had the same issue. 

I too have 6 items in packaging since craft day order. They DID take the money out of my account immediately, that was processed through my bank by the 7th. I complained on here yesterday, and later on, I finally recieved an e-mail from them. They are telling me that one of my orders, the PW Rose Garden Toppers are in delay and I should get my order within 10 days. This is bullcrap… if there is only 1 item holding up my order, SEND THE REST OF THE ITEMS!!!! I paid for all of them already! You know what, CREATE AND CRAFT is very speedy and reliable in there orders, I have placed orders to them AFTER HSN craft day, and already got that days ago. If you have not checked them out… you need too! I only know about them because I switched from cable to satellite and they have a chanel just like HSN and QVC do. They have great offers there, they also have a website. There are better ways to deal with these issues rather than just avoiding to explain to the customers… and the hurricane excuse is too old, and not true.

I placed my order @ Midnight on Oct. 5th, my charge card has been charged, and all my craft items are still in packaging.  I did receive 2 things, but those were both clearance items, none of the new items. I am wondering if they are selling items before they have received them in the warehouse and have to wait for the items before they can ship???    

 I emailed and talked to customer service and was told there were problems at the warehouse, and they are working very hard to get the items shipped ASAP, but could not even give me a date as to when that might be. I was told that my email would be forwarded to managers so they are aware of the problems, not sure that will even do any good. I have spent LOTS of $$ with HSN and have never had these kinds of problems in the past.

I have noticed that lately my packages are coming with the packing tape coming off to the point that things can fall out of the box very easily. The boxes are smashed, or over packed to the point the box is caving in where it can barely hold what is in there.  Something is going on with HSN’s packaging that is for sure. I have had things sent incorrectly or just not in the box, grrrr….

I just want my stuff and some sort of explantion as to what the real problem is !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully HSN will make this up to their loyal customers, or else I think they are going to be loosing some of the loyals.

My purchases are in packaging as well. I ordered on Anna’s craft day. I hope they will ship soon. I received one email about an item that indicated it would be mailed within ten days. Purchases have always shipped quickly in the past. This is a new experience for me from HSN. Thanks for all the info. about this to everyone who has posted.

I received one of my Craft Day purchases a few days ago, but all of the other items are still in packaging. I am quite annoyed about the delay, particularly because Customer Service can’t even provide me with an estimated delivery date.

And to make things worse, the one item I received is an accessory that goes with another item that’s still in packaging, so I can’t even play with it yet! :smileysad:

Shipping was slow after the last Craft Day, but this is ridiculous!

Mine is still in packaging. Not real happy about it. Don’t think the hurricane affected TN. Live in Ky. So don’t see the hurricane causing a delay if it’s been shipped from there. I have not received any notice about when I should get them. Ordered something 2 days after the craft show & received it yesterday.

Well, Im annoyed.  This happened to me the last craft day also.  They kept telling me my items would arrive on time.  That is until the date came and went.  Was hoping last time was just a fluke but only one of my orders have shipped.  The rest are packaging and a couple are extended delivery.  Now I receive an email that another product is delayed and should be here in 10 days.  Seriously ridiculous.  HSN says they dont charge you until they ship but that is simply not true.  I am always charged as soon as the orders go to packaging the midnight after ordering.  They insist that isnt the case but it is.  so I was charged a full week ago and yet my items arent even shipped.  I understand they may have large volume of orders for craft day but then they need to plan ahead.  

I am glad I am not the only person with this proble and to learn that items should ship by 10/15.  However, I am not happy with the hurricaine excuse for Piney Flats.  I don’t believe that area was unduly affected by the storm.   I am annoyed with the delay because it seems more like HSN cannot handle the volume of orders on the 24 hour craft days.  

Mine are also still in packaging status. This is the second time I have to wait for my products. Last craft event was the same. I think after this I may have to start searching out for other options to get my crafting supplies. I wouldn’t mind if they were honest from the beginning and stated that items will take 2 or 3 weeks to arrive. Now I just received an email that Ana Griffin’s dies are on backorder.
