Craft Day Purchases still in Packaging?
My craft day purchases are still in packaging. It’s been a week! I ordered after craft day and have received those items. Anyone else having this problem?

Since HSN charged our credit cards for Craft Day and haven’t even shipped them, I would think we can dispute the charge on our credit card. Also, I think we should be able to cancel any order in packaging status longer than 1-2 days. For HSN to expect customers to wait weeks for shipments while they consolidate warehouses without first disclosing that delay before an order is placed but still charging for merchandise that they no intention to deliver within their own delivery policy timeframe is a fraudulent practice.

I received my Hsn bill today. I was charged for 8 out of 9 Items from Craft Day. The 8 show in packaging status and one shows extended delivery. On Oct 12, for the one, I received an email that the Anna Griffin Ivory Cards and Envelopes had a delay in shipment and should be expected in 10 days. I have not received any of the items yet.

mine too..humm maybe the storm had created some issues??

I have received two orders from the craft day, but I have many others in packaging also. I also have a large order placed on Oct. 2…still in packaging…I probably will reconsider placing any more orders from HSN for awhile..
I think we all should’ve received an e-mail or phone call telling us about the delay and an apology… I think we deserve that much..

? I don’t know what happen to my message that you replied to, but, here it is:
I just spoke with a customer service representative and her supervisor about my Andrew Lessman autoship order that was suppose to ship out last Monday October the 3rd which I have still not received yet and still has not shipped out. She mentioned nothing about Hurricane Matthew – My Andrew Lessman autoship orders always come from Piney Flats, TN warehouse which is in eastern TN and was not affected by Hurricane Matthew anyway.
The supervisor told me they are doing some major consolidating of warehouses in the eastern United States area – she mentioned the Roanoke, Virginia and Piney Flats, TN warehouses. They are trying to consolidate most of the merchandise into the Piney Flats, TN warehouse if I understood her right. This is causing a major backlog of orders because they’re in the midst of stacking a lot of additional merchandise into one warehouse so that the orders will become more automated and faster in the future. They apparently can’t get to a lot of orders right now because they are too busy consolidating warehouses. She was also told not to do any exchanges or new orders for items customers haven’t received yet because it will just create a greater backlog of orders.
(I think the CSs were told not to reorder the same items that people are waiting for, meaning if I ordered an item from Andrew Lesman that has been stuck in packaging, they won’t reorder that for me right now because I might think I might magically get the new order shipped out faster, I guess? And, they won’t exchange items for people that have received items already because all this will add to the backlog of orders that they haven’t shipped out.) HSN, if any of this is wrong, please clarify, Thanks!
I think the Supervisor said that they are making the Piney Flats, TN warehouse much bigger, so, I guess contruction is going on there also… So, most of the HSN merchandise in the eastern unites states warehouses are probably being consolidated into the Piney Flats, TN warehouse.

My first purchase thru HSN was on craft day…ordered 2 items. Don’t see anything about in “packaging” on my order status. My credit card has been charged for both items…called customer service and they said it’s due to the hurricane. They said I might receive it on the due date of the 15th but I have not received any notice of shipment. Super angry that my credit card has been charged without shipment! I think this will be my last order thru HSN! If I don’t receive any confirmation of shipment by the 19th I’m cancelling the orders…something is not right.

Just talked to HSN the 1st girl told me my items were backordered and I could cancel them if I wanted and reorder them if I wanted to because they are not sold out and are for sale now. Then she sent me to customer service, That girl told me I could not cancel my orders because they were in the warehouse in Tennassee, and they are delayed because of Hurricaine Matthew, I followed the hurricaine pretty well I live in Florida, and my sister lives in North Carolina and It didn’t affect much in Tennasee. She told me I had to wait till they are delivered then I can return them if I want. ????????
This has happened to me every time they have an all day craft event hurricaine or not I believe it has a lot more to do with discounted shipping than hurricaine damage at their warehouse.

I still have 1 of an original 7 items from craft day in “Packaging”. One of the six items I did receive was wrong item; so Customer Services reordered the correct item for me, that as well is back stuck in “packaging”.
Here’s what i think is going on: Since the six items I received, appear to have shipped out of Fontana, CA; when mostly 99% of what I usually buy comes from Piney Flats, TN, I think there’s a specific issue at the Piney Flats Warehouse.
Did the workers go on strike? Did they walk out in protest? Are they having an informal “blue flu strike”? Or did the software running their computerized warehouse order/stock system, completely have a melt down and fail?
One of those things has to be the “technical” difficulties, that the CSRs keep referring to.
I can only say, I’m glad the items I bought were not intended as gifts for a certain event.
However, I agree with others: a) we should be able to cancel if we wish; b) they should ship express as an apology; and/or give us all some type of compensation for the delays; and c) our credit cards should be credited with the items still in “packaging” until they actually SHIP.

I still have items from Craft Day in “Packaging” status too (along with vitamins I ordered on Oct. 2). I’m disappointed that this is happening. I order online a lot from other stores and always receive those orders quickly. In the past, I think HSN delivered orders in a more timely manner.

My craft day purchases say still in packaging for my Anna Griffin purchases, and say they won’t be delivered until November, funny thing is both items are not sold out and are still being sold, so why arn’t mine being sent?

Me too and the last time this happened to me it was when Cricut Imagine was launched. I called and cancelled the order then ordered it again a few days later and received it right away. Some who were waiting from their original order were still waiting. I agree, HSN really needs to look into this. It should always be “first come, first served”, even if the items are on sale and have reduced shipping!

I too, have items from craft day still listed as “packaging”. I know myself I would like to have the true reason for the delay and then given the option to cancel my order. Once something like this happens I am very apprehensive to order items again from the offending company. I think honesty is needed on the reason for the delay, those that still want their products should be delivered by express mail. Treat us customers as if we are important to HSN.

Absolutely! I totally agree that IMMEDIATE CHANGES FOR THE BETTER IN THE PACKING DEPARTMENT AT HSN are needed. I ordered(3) of Colleen’s Prestige Jewelry Boxes on the 7th of October and as of October 13th, THEY ARE STILL IN PACKING! HSN can’t seem to get the packages out in a timely fashion (2-3 days) but they can sure charge your credit card immediately. How would HSN like it if orders were placed and payment was “still processing” 6 days or more after the customer.had received the items. HSN would be singing a different tune then! Perhaps they would be able to feel the frustration of paying for items that are not received in a timely fashion. There is no justification for this extended delay in packing. HSN should have adequate staffing at their warehouses to promptly ship orders customers have paid for. I totally agree with another poster said: ” HSN should ship the items which have been in packing for more than two days by express/priority mailing at their expense.

What’s going on, HSN? Why is all but one item I purchased still marked as “in packaging”? Why no updates?

I placed 13 orders on October 5th. All were from the Caft day except two. I recieved the two, but nothing from the craft day. I did a chat with customer service yesterday and was told that there was a problem at the warehouse and that my orders should arrive by the scheduled arrival dates. I called customer service today and was told that emails had been sent out telling us that our orders would arrive in another 10 days so by the 23rd. I see a response from HSN on one of these posts that said that the hurricane and UPS was a minimal interruption. This was going on prior to my order date. My items usually get here within 2 -3 days, with the exception of the Surepost shipments, which is another issue entirely, why would ups deliver to the post office and delay the shipments by 1-2 days, when it could be delivered to me on the original ship arrival date. Anyway back to the issue at hand, I was told today that I should have received an email about the shipping delays, well I did for one item, I placed 13 orders. Disappointed with how this is being handled. I have beeen a longtime customer and I understand that problems do arise in instances, but this should have been announced on air!
Most all of my orders ship from Piney Flats, TN and they were not affected by the hurricane. HSN please tell us exactly what is going on so we can understand and maybe give you a break on hassles! I, too, agree that the delayed orders be expedited!
Just decided to check and see where the two orders that did arrive shipped from and guess what they came from Florida, straight up east coast, hmm hurricane did not affect them!
