Craft Day Purchases still in Packaging?
My craft day purchases are still in packaging. It’s been a week! I ordered after craft day and have received those items. Anyone else having this problem?

UPDATE on my order from 9/26 that has been in Packaging since 10/6:
Some time today my order shipped. Well, the info was received. I just checked and it has shipped out of it’s warehouse…….IN PENNSYLVANIA.
Now, let’s see:
1) Hurricane is to blame (no hurricane in VA, TN or PA)
2) Warehouses are being consolidated (TN and VA)
3) IT delays (in TN)
4) Vendor shipping from their facility (they don’t have one in PA)
5) Issues with the warehouse (TN and VA)
6) Don’t know why, sorry.
These and versions of these lies are what I’ve been told the entire time. Funny thing how the product was shipping out of PA the entire time. So, what’s the excuse NOW, HSN?
Liars.

I ordered too on the 4th. My stuff is also in Packageing!! When I called of course they said hurricane at the warehouse I understand that as I live in NC however we got the hurricane not TN. My daughter lives there and TN is fine! I do not understand how people who ordered after me are getting theirs. I have gotten no updates! I’m sorry we are all being treated like this. It kinda takes all the fun out of crafting!!

Received email 4pm est stating this:
Thank you for shopping with HSN. We appreciate that you have been anxiously awaiting your order and it has not shipped in a manner that meets our high standards…and for that we are truly sorry.
We recently added new technology and equipment in one of our warehouses, which we believe will ultimately improve the overall speed of delivery to our customers when fully implemented. While we tested it thoroughly, when put into production we identified that certain orders were not shipped within our normal timeframes. Please know we are working diligently to address this matter immediately.
We will continue to closely monitor your order and keep you updated with any changes. Once your order has shipped, we will notify you via email so you may track your shipment. If you would like to cancel your order for a full refund, please contact our customer service representative at 800-284-3900.
As a valued customer, we greatly appreciate your business and thank you for your patience.
SO HERE THEY OFFER A FULL REFUND IF WOULD LIKE TO CANCEL!!

what a poor excuse for a company

just got off the phone with yet again Customer Service, customer service my **bleep**, she told me it was due to difficulties at one of their warehouses a few days ago and before I could speak she said oh several days ago. She said it looks like the 25th and I asked that I will receive my merchandise that I already was charged for or the day they are shipping it out, her reply I don’t know, I told her this is ridiculous, no notifications, nothing, she said I should have received a call telling me about the delay, wel I said I didn’t and this is my 6th phone call and yet another lie to try and cover your **bleep**. She said I couldn’t cancel either because items are already prepared for packaging, what a crock of **bleep**. I don’t care what the hell they are selling I will NEVER do business with them again.

My order is in packaging, too. I called last night and was told it was due to horrible storms in Tennessee and the truckers couldn’t get to the warehouse. I then asked to cancel my order and I was told I could not because it was already prepared for shipping. Funny – when I researched Tennessee weather I didn’t see any horrific storms affecting Tennessee. This company is dishonest – will never deal with them again.

What is funny, is my daughter ordered the same exact thing that I did. She ordered it a few hours later and she got hers last week–never no delay. This is a bunch of bull!! I have talked to customer service, I have emailed them and all I hear is We are so sorry, we promise 10 more days. A decent explation would be nice. Maybe a post on their home page would be great!! Instead they keep suckering people in to order more when they can’t stand by their orders that we have paid for already. I tend to find Crafters/Scrapbookers are very nice people, but dont’ mess with our product 🙂

I think HSN should offer some type of compensation for this fiasco. Some people are waiting on items they planned to use to fulfill orders. And even if we don’t have a business, we have not received our orders. And not one email to explain what’s going on. I should not have to call them to inquire about my order. They should have sent out emails as soon as they realized there was an issue.

My craft items are still in packaging as well. You would think that even with technical issues that by now it would have been fixed. I have family who work in the industry and they and there companies would not have tolerated this and the way in which the entire thing has been handled. I too have sent several messages and the response was to give me 5.00 in spendable cash. This does not make up for the delays and lack of communication on the part of HSN. I love craft days nut this may just have stopped that. Most of my items are Christmas related. I think HSN IS COUNTING ON OUR LOVE OF ANNA GRIFFIN TO KEEP US AS CUSTOMERS. They may be surprised.

I posted a conversation (Did you Know…) about HSN charge policy under “Talk Among Yourselves” category. I think alot of customers have no idea they are being charged immediately upon ordering when it can take days, weeks, who knows how long to ship. May be legal, not so sure about ethical. Hoping the post mentioned above will get some traction and HSN executives will reconsider their policy.
HSN is going to lose alot of sales because of their shipping problems and no end in sight for a resolution. With Christmas around the corner, there is no way I’m going to purchase anything else from HSN! The last thing I need is my money tied up and nothing to show for it! Yes, my refund request is being processed but that took several calls and wasted too much time and energy on my part.

one person I talked to said it was because of the hurricane, another person told me it was because of the great demand they are one week behind, the next person told me they are eleven days behind, they can’t even get their stories straight. they don’t hesitate charging our credit cards and the excuses are bull because one of the craft items I purchased on 10/5 was delivered 5 days later, I guess the hurricane took a break. I have lose the need for HSN, no more for me.

I just talked to to a very nice CS rep and was told it is an IT issue (having been through IT conversions) I would say their software is not working as expected.
She also said all crafts items are shipped from Piney Flats. I will keep my orders but do not expect them to ship anytime soon.
-
yes ordered on 10/5 and everything is still in packaging? and everytime I call HSN I get a different excuse. I am sick and tired of this, they guarantee 3-7 business days and it has been 14 days. What gives and they are so inconsiderate not to notify their customers if something is wrong and lie when they are called.
-
I did not order any crafts, however…
the delay with shipping is NOT only crafts: clothing, shoes, home products, beauty…. the issue includes ANY product sold by HSN and it’s been a nightmare.
I’ve talked to numerous CS reps and for the most part, they’ve been nice and apologetic. However, some have been extremely rude and do everything they can to end the call ASAP. The lies HSN has told regarding this is disgusting and the only way to show them how we feel is to NOT purchase from them; that includes returning any and all items purchased and then held for weeks on end.
Last, regarding the CC charge: the CS rep I last spoke with (The Rude One) said that yes, your card is charged at midnight when it is confirmed the order is IN STOCK. Now, if waitlisted or on extended delivery, it is NOT charged. So, ALL the items I ordered the last week of September/first week of October that are “in packaging” were charged to my account THAT DAY even though they have not shipped. This is their policy and yes, it is perfectly legal. It is the ONLY ONLINE RETAILER I SHOP WITH that does this…. had it not been for the delay, I would NEVER have known.
Something to think about.
