Brother scanncut

Need help with the scanncut cm350

I scan the image I want to cut and it cuts pats that is suppose to be part of the image, I tried resetting the settings and numbers and it does the same thing an example I scan Sofia the princess and machine cuts her crown out and it’s part of the image, when I adjust the part I want to scan I make sure it’s not in the cutting zone
