Anna Griffin Foil Machine
I have been playing around with my New Anna Griffin Foil Machine, but I can’t seem to get a perfect outcome. Each time there are pieces of the black showing through.
I am only using the kit that came with the machine, so the foil sheets and Anna Griffin Content…I have the machine set at 3, I run it through twice if there is a lot of black, each time the same problem. One time I used the machine set at 4, but the outcome was the same.
I really want to make this work, so any advice would be fantastic! Thank you so much 😀

Take a sheet of folded printer paper and put in the folder and see if the toner will transfer on the paper. May have to run through a few times.

So far I haven’t had that problem but am having some of the toner leak out onto the folder when i used the black toner sheets. How do you remove the toner from the folders? I don’t want it to transfer onto other projects. Anyone know what is safe to use on the folder to clean it?

I have been experiencing the same thing with little black spots peeking through the die cuts I received with the kit. I have tried foil on settings 2 and 3 but got the same black spots. I also ran it through again with new foil but they were never covered up. Then, I tried Minc 3D butterflies from American Crafts/Heidi Swapp on level 3 (as recommended) and they came out perfectly.

If you are foiling you should only have to run through on setting 3 one time. If you are using the glitter sheets the machine should be set on 5 and run it through twice. The foil sheets should be color side up. Glitter sheets are color side down. I take a sheet of parchment paper fold in half and put design in it and then put in the plastic folder and run through machine. It seems to take the static away and I have had no problems. Hope that helps.MI would think if you still have problems it is the machine.
