What is the material on the alligator looking luggage made from

Is that luggate that looks like alligator skin made from live alligators or crocodilles because strangely enouph the description does not include the material.  Thousands of alligators and crocodilles are skinned alive and left to die just for fashion.  These animals suffer horrific torture just so someone can wear their skin.  I encourage hsn to post the material and obstain from any sale of animal skin or fur.  These animals are skinned alive and left to die.  This abuse must stop!!!!
