Samantha Brown Luggage Sizing

Hi, yesterday was a TS with Samantha Brown Luggage. I can’t help but notice that the selections were 20″, 25″ and 28″ but the actual sizing is bigger. The 20″ carry on is actually 21″ and many people have commented that this is not all carrier friendly. What is more concerning is that during all the presentation, Samantha Brown and the hosts are stating that this will fit in that box (which varies with carriers).  Why not be honest or at least make a smaller version of the carry on with the dowel bag and packing cubes that won’t be a problem for more airlines.

The 25″ works fine because even though it is bigger, it won’t present a problem. It also keeps you from overpacking and over that 50lb rule. Note the bag is about 10lbs so you have 40 lbs of clothes to work with.

I wouldn’t get the 28″ that is 29 1/2″ which might make it too big but most definitely would pack too much and you would incur additional charges.

The main point was how about a very friendly carry on, with the dowel bag and packing cubes for the ladies! Thank you.

PS  I know none of my sons or my husband would think this luggage manly. JMO!
